Unable to attend
We were unable to attend this holiday as my wife was ill. The camp site was excellent didn’t ask any questions and give us a credit note for the experience so we didn’t miss out can’t thank them enough.

our first and very best glamping experience
We had the most relaxing two nights in total comfort, snug and cosy together with the snow 'quite literally ' falling outside and turning the surrounding fells into a winter wonderland. The underfloor heating is perfect and the sleeping arrangements are amazingly huge. The staff are lovely and helpful and only too keen to help. I think this is the future of camping' at least for us' can't wait till next time. W

Hobbit Hole Holiday
This was so much better than we imagined. Plus side Oodles of pine clad space bright, snug, warm and surprisingly airy. Bed platform was comfy and would sleep two adults and four children easily. There was just two of us. Lots of power/USB points. Site lovely and bar excellent. You will need to bring mugs crocks cutlery etc. Towels too. Great picnic table on ‘balcony’ outside for watching the world while eating after grand days out. Highly recommended.

Fabulous break
This was a fabulous break with the hubby and dog in the hobbit hole. The site is lovely and great facilities. The bar was lovely and cosy feel. We had a slight mishap for breakfast but there is a food van serving breakfast and evening dinners which saved our breakfast. Great views and walks. Would definitely book again.

Amazing time in the Hobbit Hole!
Absolutely stunning and peaceful place! Just what me and my partner needed! Quiet, relaxed and friendly staff who go above and beyond to cater to your needs. We will be returning! Great value for money! Beautiful views! Bonus on the heated flooring too! I would recommend, actually have, because this is an amazing experience and ideally located to other attractions, that are only a few miles away from the quiet site to explore!

Perfect little getaway!
What a lovely site The Quiet Site is. It's perfect! There is a range of accommodation options and the location is simply beautiful. We stayed for 2 nights in a hobbit hole which was great as we didn't need to pitch a tent and you have your own toilet and basin and can lock the door on your valuables. The staff are so welcoming and give great tips on where to visit and the hand drawn maps for local walks are a great way to get out and about!

Relaxing time
Peaceful and quiet, as the name would say :). Plenty of things to see and do including nice walks, few fels (hills) to conquer and beautiful sites all around. Hobbit hole was good and spacious, ensure you bring warm clothes and bedding as heating may not be as warm to your liking. We have found it good! Although temperatures were lower when we visited (8celcius during the day). Staff welcome and very polite and helpful. Deffinetely check out the bar as the place is very cozy !

Hobbit hole experience - with two little hobbits!
So, this was a birthday gift. Flipping brilliant! The camp site was friendly and relaxing.. the hobbit holes are on the top bank so you get to see views over Ullswater. The facilities are fantastic, Everything is thought of from soft play to family baths.. and the pub... looks amazing! Unfortunately opened after our little ones bed time.. babysitting services would be good!! ;) Two boys aged 1 and 3 loved it too - just like in a tent but with a toilet! Highly recommend!
