Lovely hotel
Just returned from a 2 night break at this picturesque hotel . The Covid precautions were excellent. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Our room was in the garden annex, and overlooked the beautifully maintained grounds and the canal. The room was spotless, but the radiator was too hot, so we had to keep the window open. The meals were delicious and served by lovely staff.

Promises much. Delivers little.
Hotel looks lovely from outside. Food looks lovely on website. Do not be fooled. Rooms for Virgin deal are in the 'prison' block at the back. Stuffy, airless, grotty room. Very bad sleep. Food is basic. Breakfast is as dark smartprice level. Not a treat at all. Hotel is set in urban/industrial sprawl, not in Cotswold countryside at all. Very disappointing experience.

Stonehouse Court Hotel
On arrival to the hotel we where told the we had no reservation, my wife started to cry, after around 15 minutes we where told that they had managed to find a room, the room was very lacking and in need of a lots of maintenance taps just turned round, beside light not working. Dinner was a joke in the RESTAURANT AND THE DIABOLICAL WAITING 50MIN before someone took our order for a drinks let alone food, another long wait. Breakfast was just as bad my wife's brought out and mine over 50 min latter.

Terrible! Beautiful hotel and setting!
The hotel is beautiful however it’s a catalog of disasters.... My card was charge for the full price despite the voucher being sent through, dinner service and menu was dire, we had to keep asking for the wine and breakfast is literally inedible, I waited over an hour for a Luke warm congealed breakfast that had to be sent back, I then waited another 20 minutes for the clearly reheated original breakfast . The restaurant was hardly half full. Wouldn’t come back and to be honest wadtdd voucher
