You’ll be able to pair your delicious spread with your choice of tea.

What happens on the day?
On arrival to The County Hall Hotel, you’ll be welcomed and shown through to your table in the Library Lounge.
Settled in, you’ll be served an array of sweet and savoury delicacies alongside your choice of tea. The Bubbly will be free-flowing for 1 hour 30 minutes.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Your experience is available to book Monday to Thursday, between 14.00 and 16.30.
Please note - due to extensive refurbishment the experience will not be available from 17 February to 1 April 2020 inclusive.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Fantastic!

lovely relaxing afternoon
Free-flowing champagne afternoon, we were late due to train disruption. No room in the library so were put in the bar area. No rush, relaxing. Would recommend!

Absolutely lovely day
Gorgeous hotel, really nice food and the bubbly was great. Great views. The staff were so friendly and welcoming!!! Bought for my mum for Mother’s Day and she really enjoyed herself. Very much recommend.

An unforgettable afternoon !
If you want excellent service, atmosphere and a lovely treat both for yourself and a special guest, The Library is the place to go. I went home and was inspired to write three hundred new pages to my ongoing mystery novel.

Fantastic afternoon tea
Myself and five friends returned to the Library at County Hall Hotel and had the most wonderful afternoon. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the food delicious and the Prosecco was very free flowing. Would thoroughly recommend.

County Hall amazing!
The Free-Flowing Bubbles Afternoon Tea at the Marriott County Hall was simply amazing!! The food was great, we even asked for more sandwiches and they brought them without any issues! The cava was delicious and the chocolate tea was extraordinary! The guy who served us was 5 stars!!! This is the second time and we really love the place, recommended!

Brilliant experience
This was the best afternoon tea ever! Such good service from booking to the waitresses on the day. Glasses were continually topped up and sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Did not feel rushed and the ‘library’ was amazing with brilliant views of the Thanes. Thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic treat, beautiful venue
The Bubbles really did flow! The staff were very attentive despite the venue being very busy. Felt thoroughly spoilt. Great venue, stunning room to enjoy the tea. I would highly recommend.

Excellent Champagne Afternoon Tea
This was our second visit to County Hall for the Free Flowing Bubbles Afternoon Tea. The service in the Library at County Hall was excellent, nothing too much trouble. The actual tea was lovely with lots of bubbles, we even had to say "no thankyour" the last time they come to top our glasses up!!! We will definetely be visiting again as "big" birthday approaching.

Bottomless prosecco afternoon tea.
Just perfect! The service, attention to detail and quality of the food was amaz. The staff were attentive but not in the way. Yg6e food was plentiful and delicious and thr prosecco was certainly 'bottomless!' Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon.

A lovely afternoon
Afternoon tea at County Hall was a great experience - the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went to great efforts to ensure it was a special experience. The tables were far enough apart to give us plenty of privacy to chat and we weren't made to feel rushed at all.

Excellent Afternoon Tea
We enjoyed the Afternoon Tea at County Hall, with excellent service. Staff were very welcoming and attentive, nice table overlooking the Thames. Nice selection of sandwiches and cakes plus 'free flowing bubbles' made for a great special day out. Would recommend, and will be defiently booking this experience again.

A Great Afternoon
This was a birthday gift from my daughter and her boyfriend. It was my second time at The County Hall Hotel London for Free-Flowing Bubbles Afternoon I had a lovely time and was well looked after by the staff. The staff were extremely attentive, professional and very helpful. My friend and I had a great time and we are looking forward to visiting The County Hall Hotel again soon.

Great Afternoon Tea and Flowing Bubbles!
Took my wife here for a surprise afternoon tea, we had a window seat which overlooks the Thames and across to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The experience was fantastic, the service, the food, the staff, the bubbles, the surroundings, everything! - We had an amazing time and wouldn't book anywhere else now! - Thank you to all !

A Wonderful Afternoon

Lovely afternoon and seemingly endless bubbles!
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at County Hall - really lovely savoury and sweet items which left us very full! The free-flowing bubbles were just that - generously poured throughout our time there. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. A nice view across to the House of Parliament and Big Ben topped off the experience.

Nice location, confusion around our booking
It was overall a very nice experience, there was some initial confusion about the type of experience we had booked (bubbles afternoon tea not G&T afternoon tea). They initially seated us in the Bar area but once the confusion was cleared up, we were relocated to the Grand library. The room is beautiful with excellent views of the Thames, Houses of Parliament and surrounds. Sandwiches were a bit dry but all the other food was delicious. They also made a special birthday cake for us.

Miss Greene aka Miss White AKA Clare
HI what a lovely afternoon tea at County Hall near The London Eye Waterloo. From the time we stepped into the voyer we had nothing but first class treatment. Diva our waitress was just so sweet nothing was too much trouble. Shame the first glass of Champagne was lovely from then on it was Cava not quite as nice. Due to unforseen circumstances car accident the original voucher had expired left a bit of a bad taste in your mouth when you had to pay a further £20 to extend the experence.

70th birthday celebrations
8 of us had the free-flowing bubbles afternoon tea in the Library. A beautiful room with a stunning view. Good service from delightful staff apart from when I had to wait quite a while for a change of cup for my second choice of tea. The tea had already been brought to the table. We also had to wait quite some time for all of our tea/scones/cakes to arrive. Otherwise a wonderful afternoon.

Fabulous venue - lovely teas
I really enjoyed my afternoon tea. Service was impeccable. As described the bubbles were free flowing Food was lovely although for my sister who was with me felt the gluten free sandwich options were a little uninspiring, bit bland. Definitely go back for non gluten free options !!

A lovely afternoon tea with free flowing bubbles
We arrived a little early but we were seated straight away. The service was very good, the sandwiches lacked filling, the scones were beautiful, and the cakes were fair. The bubbles certainly flowed and this certainly made up for the tea, couldn’t fault that aspect! Would certainly go again if in London.

Not as good as it once was
Much less forthcoming with the cava than they used to be (note there was no initial glass of champagne as one reviewer mentioned)! Server announced when she refilled us an hour after our booking began that "this would be our last glass". When she next passed by, I queried the timing - she looked embarrassed and made noises to the effect that she was mistaken, and that we did have another half hour. However, we then didn't see her for the next 40 minutes! Being so stingy does leave a bad taste!

Wasnt what it was meant to be
We got there 20min late due to transport and although we phoned ahead and told them they weren't impressed when we got there. Bread was dried up on sandwiches and it was meant to be free flowing prosecco we didn't get offered a top up and my tea was cold

Not fresh
Nice surroundings, great staff, interesting selection of teas and lovely Champagne, but food was not fresh and I suspect that it had all been prepared hours earlier. As a bare minimum I would expect scones to be still warm from the oven.
