What happens on the day?
Upon arrival to Mele e Pere, Soho, you will be welcomed and shown to your pre-booked table. Once comfortably seated, you will be presented with the day’s menu and be able to choose your fantastic three courses. As part of your experience, you’ll each be able to enjoy a glass of chilled Prosecco.
Available as a lunch or dinner option to help you get the most out of your day.

Lunch is served 12.00 to 16.00, dinner 17.00 to 18.00
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 2 hours for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Pleasant experience
The restaurant is lovely. Downstairs is chic and upstairs is small but allows you to people watch. The food was lovely and fresh. Obviously a limited menu with a voucher experience but we were happy with the choice. Great portion sizes with a glass of Prosecco too. Would go again 😀

Lovely dinner
We attended as a party of two on a Saturday night. We were given a set menu with only 2 choices of each course, luckily we aren’t fussy so found it suited us. The ambience was lovely, given the current climate there was the perfect amount of people there. The food was plentiful and tasty, would highly recommend overall.

A great experience!
A couple of things to note, mainly that this experience is for the Pre Theatre menu not the A La Carte, so the choice is a little more limited, but the food is still excellent. Secondly, there is an upstairs (street and bar level) and a downstairs. We chose upstairs which was really buzzy as the bar seemed very popular in its own right. From our brief visit downstairs, it looked much bigger and seemed to have a great atmosphere. Which ever you choose, you are likely to have great experience!

Lovely meal and great service

Nice lunch
A nice lunch in Soho. Weird to be back in London after such a long absence. The only real downside was length of time between receiving the gift and having the experience. But that was not the fault of Virgin or the restaurant. And considering the situation it was great that we finally made it.

Great experience
OK for the money. Limited on what you can get in the restaurant, as your choice is limited.Can't use main menu, as others do paying full price.Food was very good with drink.The restaurant is in a great location in Soho, London. Plenty of seating areas downstairs.

Perfect location for a pre show dinner
Had the three course meal with Prosecco after seeing a matinee show nearby. Nice place with a relaxed atmosphere, the food was very tasty and although the portions weren't huge with three courses they didn't need to be.

Good
The meal was good, the venue is cool and has a nice vibe to it. The service was very slow (considering it wasn’t busy) and the staff weren’t the most polite. A 12% service charge is also discretionary

On being seated I was given a 3-course set menu and a daily menu, was not given any advice as to which menu to use, there was no sign of anyone to ask, had to wait until we were served our glass of Prosecco. I was then inform we were only to use set 3-course menu, if we wanted anything on main menu we had to pay for! The restaurant offers lots of homemade breads, pastas, ice cream, but out menu was very limited! I feel the the experience day is very over priced for what it offered

wouldn't recommend the experience
It's a shame restaurants and waiters don't give the real importance to those that experience their venue. Unfortunately the waiter was pathetic - when asked about the food she could just answer -> ah I think all of them are good. Bad food, badly seasoned and blend overall. The gnocchi we had for starter was good though. Service has a lot to improve.

On arrival at the restaurant we were given two menus – a very limited menu (which was also the restaurant's pre-theatre menu) and the day’s full menu. When I asked what our voucher would cover, we were told that it would only be a selection from the limited menu; if we wanted to choose from the ‘full’ menu for that day we would have to pay extra. The limited menu - 3 courses plus a glass of prosecco - had a price of £20 per person clearly displayed at the top. When I queried this, explaining that we had paid more than this for the Virgin Experiences voucher, there was a bit of discussion and we were offered an extra (second) glass of prosecco each to compensate. The staff were charming but clearly felt unable to offer us anything other than the limited menu. The Virgin Experiences description of the 'experience' talks in glowing terms of the restaurant's sharing platters (these weren't on the limited menu), the handmade icecream (this wasn't on the limited menu, either) and the handmade bread (only one of us received any bread with our meal). We were very disappointed. If we hadn't queried the deal and been given the extra glasses of fizz, we would have ended up paying more than if we’d just gone directly to the restaurant. And we didn’t have a chance to try most of the ‘Mediterranean inspired deliciousness’ Virgin Experiences promises. In fact, given the limited choice available with the voucher, the meal was pretty uninspiring. So, be warned. If you want to go to Mele e Pere, check with them first to see what they offer and at what price(s). The Virgin ‘Experience’ we had was not as described, was overpriced and was an experience not to be repeated.
