Things to Do in Hampshire

Portsmouth (or Pompey as the locals like to call it) is one of the oldest seaside cities in the UK.

Andover is a charming market town in the North of Test Valley in Hampshire. Dating back to the Saxon times, the town was an important rest stop for coaches travelling between London and Exeter.

With everything from maritime heritage and Medieval history, to adventure activities, bustling nightlife and state-of-the-art shopping, Southampton is one of Hampshire’s most exciting attractions. It’s also a great base from which to explore, with excellent water and rail connections to visit the Isle of Wight, Winchester and Portsmouth.

Once the capital of England, Winchester is a vibrant, ancient and cultured city on the edge of the South Downs National Park. While the city is most well-known for its breath-taking cathedral, its wide array of historical discoveries and modern leisure activities have earnt the city its status as one of the UK’s premier holiday destinations. 

Vibrant with beautiful countryside, Basingstoke may be the largest town in the county of Hampshire but let’s face it, the town is often overlooked.
