The UK’s only free-roam VR and bar experience, Navrtar’s free-roam area allows you to experience VR at its finest. Get a feel for what’s to come with three mini experiences, before stepping into character for your Zombie Apocalypse Experience. Not limited to space or wires, you’ll be battling it out as a team against oncoming hordes of terrifying zombies. What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll check in at reception, where the two of you will join a team of three others, create a team name and enter your player names, to be visible on the leaderboard experience with a score breakdown at the end. There’s a bar available where you can drink before, during and after your session. Your demos are made up of three mini experiences totalling 30 minutes, allowing you to ‘warm up’ and give you a true feel of VR.
Your Zombie Apocalypse experience will last for a total of 30 minutes, where you’ll step into character and put your wits to the test to battle it out against an extraterrestrial invasion. Not limited to space or wires, you’re able to roam freely, communicating with each other through the arena.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age:13 (under 18s will need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
- Please mention when booking if you have any conditions you think may impact your experience
- Glasses with a frame smaller than 142mm wide and 50mm high should fit within the VR goggles
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
This experience is available Sunday to Friday throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 hour for the full experience with additional time if you want to visit the onsite bar.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Coulsdon Manor and Golf Club”
Stayed Saturday night with DBB. A gift from our friends. Near Purley and Mayfield's Lavender Farm. Can be tricky to find. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food and service. Bar open 24 hours but credit card details required on booking if you want to drink use bar after 11 pm. Lift and disabled facilities (ask). Great golf course/scenery. Good room (110). A mix of old and new. Recommended.

Hotel was nice but a bit run down and need some TLC. The staff were pleasant but it just seemed like it was everyone's first day and no one knew what they were doing. Food was good though!
“Disappointment in every sense”
After having our wedding reception at Coulsdon Manor we thought using a one night experience voucher gift there would be a great way to reminisce. How wrong we could have been! For a start the hotel reception was freezing due to a broken window, but the bar (only entertainment), was out of action for refit and the make shift restaurant bar was awful, so uncomfortable! The room was dirty, shabby and broken. The grounds looked unkept and all the communal decor was the same from 2004! Very poor!
