Ready to kick-start your driving career early? Good news, you’re about to take the wheel and get going with this Young Driver 4x4 Off-Road Experience at Mercedes-Benz World.
You’ll take control of a Mercedes-Benz 4x4 with a professional instructor in the passenger seat. Enjoy 25 minutes of driving, where you’ll get a feel for what it’s like to traverse off-road. Experience what it feels like to climb steep slopes, wheel off the ground axle twisters, rock and mud tracks, and water crossings. After your drive, you’ll receive an exclusive Mercedes-Benz World Track Team T-Shirt, and you can spend some time exploring the amazing venue.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Mercedes-Benz World at least 30 minutes before your young driver’s experience is about to begin, you’ll check in at the desk before a thorough safety briefing.
Take the wheel of a brand-new Mercedes-Benz 4x4, with a professional instructor by your side to guide you every twist and turn of your journey. You’ll be driving for 20 to 25 minutes, where you can take on steep climbing slopes, rock and mud tracks, and water crossings.
At the end of your experience you’ll receive an exclusive “Mercedes-Benz World Driving Team T-Shirt”, which is only available to Driving Experience participants! You’ll also have time to explore the venue.

Participant guidelines
- All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- There is no maximum age as this experience is available for all non-licence holders
- Guidelines are you should be a minimum height of 5ft in order to be safe and comfortable in the vehicle
- All driving participants must have express authorisation from Mercedes-Benz World to drive
- All driving experiences will be run in accordance with Mercedes-Benz World’s terms and conditions, and all driving participants will be required to sign a risk acknowledgement form before taking part in the experience
- The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving. Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20) payable on site. The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues. The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator. We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.

Availability
Please check the validity of your voucher as it is essential that you book and take your experience before the expiry date.
This experience is available seven days a week except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Allow up to 3 hours 30 minutes for the whole experience which will include the check-in and briefing, 25 minutes driving with additional time to enjoy exploring the venue.
During the current government restrictions you will not be accompanied by passengers due to additional sanitisation requirements. You will receive a complimentary in-car recording to share with friends and family.

We got this experience for my 11 year old son. What a great venue !!! Some amazing vehicles on show. The staff were all really helpful and professional. The experience itself was great, Wendy our instructor was brilliant, she was patient, informative and good fun. The only complaint I have, would be that the driving experience itself, should have been longer. Great day though👍🏼
