What happens on the day?
Boarding for your cruise will commence at 20.45 with departure at 21.15 from King’s Staith Landing, so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time.
The two of you will experience the beauty of York at night in all its finery, with on-board floodlights illuminating the riverside. Enjoy the relaxing jazz and swing music, and toast to time well spent with a glass of prosecco each, or a choice of hot drink with a biscuit.

- Any disabilities must be disclosed at the time of booking. All passengers must be physically able to walk on to the boats with an able bodied helper and unfortunately no electronic wheelchairs are permitted

Availability
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, kindly note the experience must be booked and taken before the expiry date.
The river cruise is available on selected dates between April and September. Exclusions may apply. Excluded dates include UK Mother's day, Good Friday to Easter Monday, UK Father's day and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Please note: All bookings are subject to availability and operational changes. There is a set allocation for voucher holders on each date and it is not always possible to fulfil specific date requests.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Wonderful evening ”
This was a Christmas present and was a lovely way to end a day visiting York. However was unable to arrange through Virgin and got no response when trying to contact them - went direct to City Cruises who were able to sort everything - well done
“Evening boat cruise”
Really enjoyed the floodlit evening boat cruise.
“Wont be booking this cruise again”
There was an incident on the river, and the boat was no allowed to go up stream pass York city. This is totally understandable, but the options given to us was take the cruise now downstream, where there was nothing to see or come back tomorrow your tickets will still be valid. Asked what if we cannot come back next day can we get our refund back and answer "No" So we had no choice but to take the cruise and it was not pleasant.
