Visit to Windsor Castle and Afternoon Tea for Two
About this experience
Explore the world's largest inhabitated castle together with a visit to Windsor Castle. An iconic part of British Royal Heritage with over 900 years of history, the home of HM The Queen is one of the country's most significant landmarks. The two of you can explore it at your leisure, including the magnificently furnished State Apartments, boasting fine art by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto and Gainsborough.
Discover the tombs of St George’s Chapel, one of the finest works of Gothic architecture in England, where Henry VIII and Charles I are at rest, and learn of the fire that nearly destroyed the castle in 1992. After your tour, the two of you can continue your indulgence of all things quintessentially British with a delightful afternoon tea at The Castle Hotel, complete with finger sandwiches, an array of cakes, homemade scones and freshly brewed tea or coffee. History, stunning architecture and delicious treats make this an outing to remember.

Excellent value for money
“A perfect day out! ”
We had a lovely day - we didn't have to join the massive queue at the castle and enjoyed exploring it on a lovely sunny day. The route around the state rooms had changed whilst building work was undergoing but we fortunately were able to upgrade to an annual pass for free to return! The afternoon tea was delicious, even for me as a fussy eater! And was in calm, peaceful surroundings with great service. Would definitely recommend!
