What happens on the day?
With tours running between 10.00 and 16.00, pick your time and prepare to be absorbed by the magical world of wizardry as you step into the studios and discover incredible, sets, costumes and special effects. Grab a pint of butterbeer, or there are plenty of amazing souvenirs to tempt you out of your galleons, sickles and knuts.
Mercure Hunton Park is just a short drive from the studios and is where you can enjoy a buffet style two-course lunch. Simple, satisfying fare with a variety of starter, main and dessert options being the order of the day for your two course meal.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 16
- If taking an infant (3 to 4 years old) admission to the tour is free.
- Please note - Warner Brothers Studio Tours Admission for visitors with disabilities is charged at the standard rate and one helper is welcome without charge. Helpers will be asked for proof on entry e.g. letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance, a letter/notice of entitlement for Invalidity Benefit or a Freedom pass with a 'D' on it
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available seven days a week with lunch served from 12.00 to 14.00, throughout the year, and must be pre-booked for the same day. Some date exclusions including 25 and 26 December may apply.
The experience has very limited availability in peak times such as school holidays and weekends.
Bookings must be made with a minimum of 12 weeks in advance as the tour is extremely popular with dates being booked up very quickly. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes for you Studio tour, 1 hour 30 minutes to enjoy your lunch plus 5 minutes to drive between the venues. Please ensure you allow plenty of time for travelling between the different parts of your experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Excellent
Harry Potter studios was fantastic but the meal for two wasn't we didnt have time to wait lunch was at 12pm but had to be at studios for 1.30 had to rush it and only managed 1 cause wasn't happy

We Had a great day
Every Harry Potter fan should go to the Warner brothers tour. It’s such a good experience and there is so much to see takes a long time to get round. The lunch was really good value for 2 courses although this doesn’t include a drink. The portion size was huge. It was very quite when we arrived at the restaurant but did get busy very quickly there was only 2 people to wait on around 25 people and I did wait a long time for a coffee but all in all nice lunch

Fantastic Day Out!
The Harry Potter WB Studio Tour was amazing! So much interesting background information is provided and it was great to see so many of the sets and props from the films. Also, meeting some of the artists, prop-makers, story-board writers etc was fascinating. The lunch at the Mercure as part of the "experience day" was also much better than we were expecting.

Truly magical
After battling the worst storm in a decade to get there, this was a truly magical experience and brilliant for anyone who is interested in the making of films, sets, costumes, props or just generally love Harry Potter. The staff were amazing and extremely knowledgable, could tell that they loved being there. The experience itself was incredible, factual and extremely nostalgic for my partner and I, both being in our 20s and grown up with Harry Potter. Would definitely recommend.

A full day of activity
I bought this as a gift for my mom last Christmas. We went recently and were impressed with the lunch that was available and Harry Potter Studios was everything we wanted it to be! Initially I thought it was expensive for the deal that we got but when we had the lunch in comparison the the ticket prices alone it was good value for money.

Absolutely fantastic
We had an amazing day. The lunch was superb. The best pizza we have eaten. In such beautiful setting. Harry Potter world is a must for everyone. Can't put into words how good it was. Would highly recommend the experience package.

Fab Day
Traded a voucher for something else for the Harry Potter experience ( this was easy) but didn’t bother with the afternoon tea part as wasn’t driving. Harry Potter itself was fab, as expected, and we planned a whole weekend in London around it.

Fabulous day out !
I went to the same experience last year but since then the studio tour has become even better! They added more exhibits, which all are amazing. I’d thoroughly recommend this experience.

Fantastic Day
My husband had not been before to The Making of Harry Potter and we had a wonderful time with the lunch being very enjoyable and nothing was too much for the staff making sure we were satisfied with our food, then going onto The Making of Harry Potter staff again were so helpful we would defiantly go again

Great attraction, really brilliant additions
I love the fact that you book a slot to attend the WB Studio, which means it's busy but never overcrowded. You can go around at your own pace (the word 'tour' is a bit of an overstatement) and there are lots of 'interactors' (people) around to help you experience it and understand more. The new Gringotts addition is great too. We also had the lunch - it's at a nearby hotel and is pleasant, but really the attraction is the WB studio tour.

Magical Day ⚡️
Loved the tour so much... would recommend booking straight away, popular venue and getting dates to use us and them was a tad tricky. The lady in the phone was so helpful. Definitely need plenty of time for the tour, we had a 4 hour gap from tour start to lunch and we felt the eeekk we might not get it done. So much to see and explore. The hotel for food was lovely (5min drive) good food and friendly serve. Only thing that would make it more magical would be a themed food experience onsite!!

Warner Bros - Worth a visit
Many memorable things from the dragon at the entrance to the large model of the buildings to the grand hall. I don't know the correct names as I am not a Harry Potter fan and I went with a fan, but I still enjoyed the visit.

Fantastic day, would recommend
We had the lunch first, arrived early and were seated in the restaurant straightaway. There was only 1 veggie option on the menu but they were very accommodating and prepared another dish, which was delicious, as was the dessert. The staff were lovely and I’d definitely eat there again. The studios were amazing , especially the newly opened Gringotts (that was my highlight). A lot of the shop is really overpriced but you get enough from the tour to make visiting worthwhile many times over.

Harry Potter tour and lunch
The lunch that was planed before the studio tour at the Mercure Hunton Park was outstanding, food and service were not notch, this set my Wife and I up for what I can only say as one of the best days out in many years, the tour round the sets of Harry Potter studio's was something that will stay with us for sometime and would recommend to all, even if they are not fans of the films, how it was put together was mind blowing, we will be visiting again

Fab day out
The experience was great at the Harry Potter studio and the Sunday lunch at the Mercure hotel was excellent. I must add the staff at the hotel were very helpful and were a credit to the hotel. I hope you can give them this feedback.

Food and Harry Potter = good day out
The food was fantastic at the hotel, really yummy. Our experience was tainted by having to ask for a jug of water 5 times to 3 different waiting staff! The happy potter tour was great (expensive inside) but a wonderful experience for Harry Potter fans.

Family day out
We started the day going to the hotel for a meal, it was a beautiful place and the staff were very polite and friendly. However, there wasn't a wide range of meals to choose from and we had no time to eat due to only having an hour for food to be made and to eat and then be at Warner Brothers studios for the tour, which food was rushed. It was our second time at Warner brothers studios and still amazing as before.

Honestly Amazing
I was very sceptical about the lunch side because of all the bad reviews it had. However, my honest opinion, lunch was just as incredible. The hotel/restaurant was empty, all staff members were dressed smart and everyone was very polite and happy. A young lady called Pippa served us and she provided fantastic service and the food was fantastic! Now onto the tour. All I can say is WOW. Save up for the gift shop like we did and enjoy it. We spent 5/6 hours there and could've spent longer tbh. Ta

Fun day.

One amazing day
Started with a 2 course meal at the Mercure Watford London. Food and service was excellent. Just 5 minutes away from the Harry Potter Studio Tour. What an amazing place, a must for all Harry Potter Fans. So much to see, you may need to visit again and again to see everything. Staff full of knowledge, so ask any Harry Potter question you like. Tour takes at least 3 hours, so wear comfortable clothes and footwear. There is lot of walking. Make sure you bring a camera with plenty of space.

Magical day!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We went on the 10am tour and it was not too busy. We had plenty of opportunity to take all the photos that we wanted and did not feel rushed. We went for the lunch afterwards and that rounded off a perfect day. All staff at the Warner Brothers Studios and the lunch hotel were very friendly and professional. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We thought the whole experience was very good, the meal at the Mercure was better than expected especially as we did a ‘well known chefs’ restaurant previously through Virgin experience days. HP tour was excellent, even got my wife on a broomstick..... no comment!

Mercure hotel lunch for two was lovely. Buffet so you could eat plenty and very tasty. Then the main event, Harry potter studios tour was absolutely amazing, it took us 4 hours to do the tour. I'd recommend this to everyone.
