The flight will begin with the pilot taxing the aircraft, whilst introducing and showing you the various controls and their effects. Talking you through the procedures throughout, you’ll sit in the rear with full dual control and even have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly the magnificent warbird yourself. You’ll experience first-hand what it’s like to be pulling up to 3g’s in this warbird.
The pilot will also demonstrate basic aerobatics such as aileron rolls to highlight the aircraft’s manoeuvrability and agility. Ideal for both aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike, this flight guarantees to be unforgettable.

The experience was amazing, i upgraded to the "full" experience on the day and boy was it amazing. Pilot will take you to your own personal limits. This is a bucket list entry that has been fulfilled. Lost count of the number of barrel rolls, cuban and 1/2 cuban and thrown in the immelman turns. Nope was not ill once though i did look a bit green when we landed. If you are thinking about this DO IT! You wont regret it.

What happens on the day?
On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the team and meet your pilot instructor. The flight will last 20 minutes, beginning with the pilot taxing the aircraft, whilst introducing and showing you the various flight controls. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to fly the magnificent warbird yourself with guidance from your instructor. During the flight, your pilot will also demonstrate some basic manoeuvres.

- Minimum age: 16
- Maximum height: 6ft 5in
- Maximum weight: 18 stone
- The ability to climb into the aircraft unaided is essential
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

This experience can be booked on selected weekends throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to an hour for the full experience.
Please note that the airfield you fly from cannot be selected and it will vary depending on the date chosen.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
