What happens on the day?
Your entry to Wakehurst is valid all day, so you’re free to spend as much time exploring as you like. There’s over 500 acres of diverse botanical life to discover, including the Himalayan Glade, Westwood Lake and the temperate woodland. Don’t miss the Walled Garden, bursting with colour from Spring through to Autumn. With an emphasis on conservation running throughout the entire property, you’ll also find the world’s most ambitious conservation project, the Millennium Seed Bank, and the Loder Valley Nature Reserve, home to 300 plant species as well as dormice, badgers, kingfishers and more.
Step inside the world-famous Millennium Seed Bank and explore one of the most biodiverse places on Earth.

Lovely day out. Really interesting guided walk lasting 2 hours, mainly focusing on the trees. Restaurant extremely busy. Wise to bring a packed lunch. Informative exhibition in the seed bank. Good selection of plants in nursery
