What happens on the day?
You have a choice of either a morning or afternoon tour for this experience. Tours depart at Victoria Coach Station at 07.45 for the Morning Tour and 13:00 for the Afternoon Tour.
On arrival at Victoria Coach Station in London, you’ll be met by your guide and take your seat on the restored double-decker vintage bus for the first part of the tour. You’ll enjoy great views of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye as the bus meanders through the streets of the city, with your guide on-hand throughout to explain the history behind these famous landmarks.
Be sure to have your camera at the ready as you stop for photos at Westminster Abbey. Then it’s off to the Tower of London which was built nearly a thousand years ago during the reign of William the Conqueror, and is now home to the Crown Jewels. Take a moment to enjoy the sight of this imposing former palace and prison before being taken to see Traitors Gate where prisoners entered the Tower for the last time.
Board the boat for a leisurely cruise along the River Thames. You’ll pass Shakespeare’s Globe, Cleopatra’s Needle and London Bridge before arriving at Embankment Pier where you will hop back on the bus and head for Buckingham Palace.
For morning tours on the relevant days, your guide will find the perfect spot to watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony where the soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and 'bearskins' march to military music. Both morning and afternoon tours finish by Victoria Train Station.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience
My husband & i recently went on the Premium Tours experience on a vintage red London bus tour & a Thames cruise. We had a great time, largely because our guide Gavin was so good. If you're not lucky enough to have Gavin, i'm sure you will still have a lovely time taking in all the sights & learning so much as you go.

Wedding Present Treat
My wife & I recently went on A Vintage Red London Bus Tour and Thames Cruise. We checked in at Victoria Coach station and firstly went on the bus round London seeing some of the amazing sights including Buckingham Palace and parts of the West End. Had a break at the Tower of London and then joined our boat for a lovely trip along the Thames. Both our guides were excellent - very knowledgeable friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this Tour.

Amazing
The London bus tour is a must for everyone, I’ve worked in London for the best part of 25 years and was amazed of the things that I learnt on this great day out, our guide for the day (Dominic) was very knowledgable, witty and in both my wife and I point of view really made this a fantastic occasion. Boat tour was very good, only criticism was the speaker system on the boat was very hard to hear as it would of been great to have had the same information as what we had on the bus tour 9/10

On Land and Water...A Great Afternoon!
Great to be back on board a London Routemaster...yes I am that old..for a tour around my home city. Even though I've lived here all my life, I learnt lots from the informative but funny and entertaining tour guide. Covering both sides of the river, this tour takes in all the sights you'd expect plus lots more. The boat tour was very luxurious n again informative. Tip:- Wrap up if planning to go up top and keep hold of your hat; one guy lost his hat going over Waterloo Bridge!! Will definitely go again

London bus
Hubby and me had a lovely day on a vintage bus and river cruise in London. We saw all the sights, Alan the guide was knowledgeable and far from boring! The whole day was very enjoyable and the beautiful weather was a bonus! I have a bit of a secret obsession with buses, particularly Routemasters and was in my absolute element being driven around in one....certainly brought back happy childhood memories!

Vintage Bus Tour & Thames Cruise
Enjoyed the day. Positives: Excellent tour guide on the cruise (John). He was spot on on his knowledge of London. Very comfortable seat on the Thames Clipper. Negative: A bit of a free for all when boarding the open top bus. Nice day and everyone wanted to be on the top deck. Probably would have been better limiting numbers to the number of top deck seats (then again it would be different if it was raining).

Good bus tour but...
The bus tour was excellent with a very good guide. However I felt the boat tour felt very rushed and the guide just rushed through the landmarks without stopping!

A Vintage Red London Bus Tour and Thames Cruise for Two
I very much enjoyed the bus route and the many and varied trivia of the buildings and places we passed. The cruise was warm and comfortable - shame it was over so quickly.
