What happens on the day?
You have a choice of either a morning or afternoon tour for this experience. Tours depart at Victoria Coach Station at 07.45 for the Morning Tour and 13:00 for the Afternoon Tour.
On arrival at Victoria Coach Station in London, you’ll be met by your guide and take your seat on the restored double-decker vintage bus for the first part of the tour. You’ll enjoy great views of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye as the bus meanders through the streets of the city, with your guide on-hand throughout to explain the history behind these famous landmarks.
Be sure to have your camera at the ready as you stop for photos at Westminster Abbey. Then it’s off to the Tower of London which was built nearly a thousand years ago during the reign of William the Conqueror, and is now home to the Crown Jewels. Take a moment to enjoy the sight of this imposing former palace and prison before being taken to see Traitors Gate where prisoners entered the Tower for the last time.
Board the boat for a leisurely cruise along the River Thames. You’ll pass Shakespeare’s Globe, Cleopatra’s Needle and London Bridge before arriving at Embankment Pier where you will hop back on the bus and head for Buckingham Palace.
For morning tours on the relevant days, your guide will find the perfect spot to watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony where the soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and 'bearskins' march to military music. Both morning and afternoon tours finish by Victoria Train Station.

“A thoroughly enjoyable experience”
My husband & i recently went on the Premium Tours experience on a vintage red London bus tour & a Thames cruise. We had a great time, largely because our guide Gavin was so good. If you're not lucky enough to have Gavin, i'm sure you will still have a lovely time taking in all the sights & learning so much as you go.
“Really good day out !”
A lovely day out as a family. Everything was organised really well and very limited queuing as all prepared beforehand. Tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding the history of London as well as the boat trip. Weather held up and good day out for the whole family. Would defo go again!
