“good tour”
a good morning, nice tour guide, lovely sunny weather and great lunch.
“Excellent day out”
We recently went on a tour of the Carr Taylor vineyard in Hastings. Great way to spend an afternoon including a very interesting tour of the operations, instructions on how to 'properly' drink wine and a very tasty lunch. Excellent value for money and a lovely team managing the day.
“Excellent morning's entertainment ”
The vineyard belongs to a small family-owned business called Carr Taylor. Not as slick as Chapel Down or Benenden but the better for it, in my opinion. The guide was a chap called Malcolm who was funny and informative and certainly knew his stuff. The balance between tour and tasting was about right and the ploughman's lunch afterwards was delicious. The wines were excellent and good value. Definitely worth a trip.
