“A highly enjoyable afternoon”
From the moment we walked up to the front door we were treated exceptionally by all the staff there. The experience was a gift, we're not used to 'fancy' restaurants or experiences but the staff were helpful and welcoming. The food and cakes were delicious and we took our time, we weren't rushed at all. They clearly catered for vegans very well - other places that offer afternoon teas don't have nearly as good a menu. I would highly recommend it.

What happens on the day?
Expect a warm welcome at Athenaeum, where you’ll be shown to your pre-booked table. Comfortable but retaining the luxurious feel of the 5* hotel in which it lives, the restaurant boasts a talented kitchen team, working with best-of-British produce.
You can expect your sweet and savoury delights to come presented with care, with as much attention to detail in the presentation as the flavour. Enjoy artisanal teas and coffee to accompany your treats.

Availability
The voucher can be used seven days a week throughout the year. Exclusions including Public Holidays, New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day will apply.
Monday to Saturday: 12.30 to 16.30
Sunday: 12.30 to 17.30
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
