Expertly hosted by the leading authority on axe throwing in the UK, you’ll be directed to your lane to receive a safety briefing and throwing demonstration. With individual coaching, you’ll be taught how to sling the axe and hone your technique to sink steel.

Once you’re feeling confident, the real fun can begin, and the tournament will get underway. The instructor on your lane will run the tournament and crown a champion before you’re given the chance to throw some trick shots. All of the sessions are suitable for beginners and by the end, you’ll be sinking axes like a pro.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the centre, you’ll be warmly greeted by your instructor and sign a waiver. They’ll then direct you to your lane to be given a safety briefing and throwing demonstration. Throughout the session, you’ll be given individual tuition to help you get comfortable throwing the axes.

Once you’re feeling confident, your instructor will start the tournament keeping score before crowning a champion. After the tournament, the two of you will have the chance to throw some trick shots.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 18
Spectators welcome (must be 18 or over)
Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.

The experience is available on selected days throughout the year, depending on chosen venue (exclusions may apply).

Manchester: Seven days a week
Bristol and Leeds: Thursday to Sunday

We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour for the full experience - this includes 50 mins for the experience and 10 mins for the safety briefing and demonstration.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
