One of only six producers who can make the geographically protected Melton Mowbray Pork Pie, Brockleby’s offers a friendly, authentic setting for you to create this world-famous treat.
The workshop begins with a short talk on the history of the family business Brockleby’s with a tour of the bakery. Learn how to make the world-famous Melton Mowbray pork pie from start to finish using free range pork.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home two pies, one cooked and ready to eat and one to bake at a later date.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Brockleby’s Pies, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the team ready for your pork pie making workshop. The session will begin with a short talk on the history of the bakery before you’re guided through the process of making the world-famous Melton Mowbray pie.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home two pies.

Availability
The experience takes place at 09.30 and 13.30 every Saturday and Sunday, throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
