Set between the villages of Bowness and Windermere, you couldn’t be better placed for all sorts of Lake District breaks. Head out for walks, hit the lake or just sit back and relax by the pool or in the steamy sauna – you’ve got two nights in lovely Windermere to do as much or as little as you like. Your base at the hotel will be a Classic Double Room, individually furnished with a flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities as well to make it a home away from home. As well as local options, in the evening, you could choose to dine at Hillthwaite's elegant restaurant.

“Lakes weekend ”

We should have had this weekend in April but was postponed due to Covid. Finally got there 4th & 5th September. Hillthwaite Hotel is a lovely hotel. All Covid measures implemented but this didn't affect our 2 night stay. All staff were friendly especially Santa at breakfast. Breakfast was served to the table, we had different things both day's and all was very nice. Didn't use the pool facilities.

“Relaxing break at the Hillthwaite ”

Very comfortable stay, a little hilly if your walking. Views are spectacular. We had an aerial display of a spitfire and euro fighters whist there

What happens on the day?

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by staff and checked into your Classic Double room. You’re free to spend your time at the hotel as you wish, enjoying the facilities and the picturesque surroundings.

In the evenings you’re welcome to head out to dine in one of the local restaurants in Bowness or Windermere, or if you’d like to take it easy you can enjoy dinner in the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant for a dinner of British cuisine with a modern twist.

As part of this experience, you’ll each enjoy a breakfast of your choice from the breakfast menu on both mornings, setting you up nicely for your day

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please ensure you book and use your voucher before the date shown.

Your two night break is available Sunday to Friday, March to September (excludes Saturdays). Date restrictions may apply.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Your experience will be for two nights. Check-in will be from 15.00 on the day of arrival and check-out will be 11.00 on the morning of departure.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
