The first coaster of its kind in Europe, the Tower Coaster at Zip World promises an unbeatable adrenaline-fuelled experience for two.
Strap into your seats as you speed down the one kilometre long track, reaching speeds of up to 25mph. Experience tunnels, banked corners, dips and peaks as you twist and turn throughout the historic former Tower Colliery, once the oldest continuously working deep-coal mine in the UK.
Three goes on the coaster are included with your ticket and as you control the speed with a lever, you can try to go faster on each run as your confidence grows.

What happens on the day?
Arriving 30 minutes before your booking, you will be warmly welcomed as you check-in at reception.
With the experience lasting around 60 minutes, a ticket for the Tower Coaster entitles you to three rides around the one kilometre track. Between each go, you will disembark the kart and re-join the queue for your next turn. Each unit is controlled by you so tailor the speed to your likes via the lever – go fast for the thrills or slow to take in the amazing surroundings.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 9 (under 17s must be accompanied by an adult)
- Minimum height: 3ft 6in
- Maximum combined weight: 26 stone 10lbs (this can be lower in extreme weather conditions)
- Medical conditions such as heart problems, claustrophobia or epilepsy may increase your chance of having an accident - please check with the supplier prior to booking to see if you are suitable for this experience
- Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for those suffering with high blood pressure or for pregnant women
- Spectators are welcome but only short sections of the track are in view
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Please ensure that this is booked and used before the expiry date shown.
This experience is available seven days a week seasonally with weekends throughout the year. Excluded dates may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 1 hours for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
