Fantastic experience: Shard + City Cruise - Thames
Really great combination, seeing the sites either side of the Thames from the river... then seeing London and beyond from the 72nd floor (viewing platform) of the Shard. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Not to mention the walk from Westminster Bridge along the south side of the Thames to the Shard.

Well worth it 😀
The view from the Shard was a great experience and well worth a visit. Also enjoyed the river cruise. The only issue we had was that Virgin Experience customer service was shocking. It took several emails and several weeks to get a response and actually book the visit. Unable to contact them by phone. Apparently this was due to staff working from home. What a poor excuse for a company as big as Virgin.

Went during COVID... still amazing!
The views from The Shard really are incredible! We also went during COVID times, but despite this we felt very safe. They had a one-way system in place and plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers around the building as well as a table service using a QR code to order from the bar. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately the Thames sightseeing cruise is closed at the moment, but we still had a great experience nonetheless.

Relaxing day seeing the sights of London
"The view from The Shard was different and a good way to see aerial view of London but over rated and priced for what it was. Drinks and snacks within the Shard were expensive . The Thames 24 hour hopper cruise was a relaxing way to see and learn about some of the key sights of London, would recommend that as a calm way to see London"

Cruise doesn't go to Greenwich
We turned up on Saturday 5/9/20 for the City Cruise Sightseeing to Greenwich but had a dispute with the company. Their website said they go to Greenwich on Saturdays and Sundays, and this was confirmed at the ticket office, but the operator said they are not going to Greenwich at all only to Tower Pier. As this was a birthday present for my husband I was angry at being mis-sold the experience as advertised. They returned our tickets and we went on the Uber Clipper instead which was far better!
