What happens on the day?
Your ticket for two adults to The View from the Shard should be pre-booked, shortening the time spent in queues.
The two of you can enjoy the experience at your leisure, queue and crowd free with no time restriction on your visit. You’ll take the elevator up to floors 68 and 69 and if you’re feeling adventurous, head up to the open top viewing platform on Level 72. 800ft in the air, you’ll get unparalleled views over the city and beyond.
When you arrive for your afternoon tea, you’ll be warmly welcomed and shown to your pre-booked table in The Fortnum’s Bar & Restaurant at The Royal Exchange. Sit back, relax and soak up the surroundings of the spectacular central courtyard, before tucking into exquisite sweet and savoury delights with a glass of chilled Champagne.

Availability
The View from The Shard
Entry can be booked Wednesday to Sunday at an allotted time.
To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View from The Shard will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.
Tickets for The View from The Shard are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Last entry varies depending on the time of year - please check for exact timings when booking. Bookings can be made between 24 hours and 4 months in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.
The Voucher has a voucher number and a pin number which needs to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket, which will be sent as confirmation of your booking, will include a multi-digit order number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.
A standard visit lasts approximately 1 hour, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
