If you are looking for something different to do together whilst in the big city, then this Thames Rockets Speed Boat Ride for Two may just be it. Aboard this purpose built Rigid Inflatable Boat (and the Visit England’s ‘Family Friendly Attraction of the Year’ for 2017/18), you’ll have the pleasure of an experienced guide, giving you nuggets of information along the way as you pass famous landmarks such as The London Eye and Tower Bridge. This isn’t a gentle meander across the Thames, the RIB is capable of 30 knots and you will feel the buzz as the boat speeds through the water in this adrenaline-packed sightseeing tour. “An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
The two of you will be greeted by a member of staff, receive a quick briefing and be handed any safety equipment you require. With an experienced tour guide on board you will buzz over the water with speed and style whilst viewing the most popular sights of London.
You’ll find yourself under the amazing Thames Bridges and exploring parts of the river that are inaccessible to other boats. Don’t forget your camera.

Participant guidelines
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- If you have an existing medical condition which may be affected by this experience then you must consult your doctor before taking part. Boats can encounter unpredictable movement that can aggravate existing medical conditions
- This experience is not suitable for anyone with pre-existing neck or back conditions
- Without exception, expectant mothers are not permitted on board at any stage of their pregnancy
Availability
This experience is valid until 31 May 2022 and cannot be extended. Please book and take the experience before this date.
Experiences run seven days a week through October, March April and May, and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between November and February. Experiences may also available during February half term.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
The experience lasts approximately 50 minutes on the water, however you should allow up to 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
