We’ve all dreamt of being a superhero at one point or another, and now you can make your fantasy a reality with this Superhero Photoshoot. Whether you’re harbouring secret powers, you’re a Marvel enthusiast, or you’ve got a passion for Cosplay, you can capture your superhero side forever with a cinematic CAPOW experience.
With your pick of props and costumes, get ready to strike a pose or two in front of a range of realistic movie backgrounds, including a death-defying skyscraper drop, all whilst superhero music plays to get you in the mood. After the shoot, your images will be enhanced with all kinds of impressive special effects, from dramatic explosions to extreme weather layers, for the full Hollywood effect.

What happens on the day?
When you arrive, you can zoom straight into the action and taker your pick of the superhero costumes on offer, before heading into the studio to get your hands on the props. There’ll be hot and cold refreshments to keep you refreshed, as well as iconic superhero music to get you in the mood.
The photographers are on hand to help you with dramatic poses and angles that’ll make your finished shots look spectacular. Depending on the studio, you can see the photos straight after your session’s finished, or a few days later.
Your voucher includes one 12” x 8” print, plus £50 off any wall hangings and £50 off any albums you’d like to purchase additionally. With fantastic special effects and professional editing, your photos will be treated to the blockbuster treatment, so you’re guaranteed that your superhero dreams will be immortalised!
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 5
- Under 21s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- You are welcome to bring family members along to get involved in the photoshoot (please confirm with the studio when making your booking, the maximum number of participants varies depending on location due to the size of the studio but the majority of the studios can take 4+ people at a time)
- A fully refundable booking deposit of £30 (£35 from January 2022) must be paid at time of booking, this is refunded at viewing or if cancelled with at least 3 days prior notice to the session
- No more than one CAPOW voucher can be used per household within a 12 month period
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
Availability
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date.
The experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year, depending on your chosen studio. Excluded dates may apply.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 1 to 2 hours for the full experience including viewing. Some studios do not offer instant viewing but will arrange a convenient date and time to return and view your images.
Only one voucher may be used per household within a 12 month period.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Mike at Dearden Studios in Caerphilly made this experience out of this world for my daughter's 6th birthday! He was incredible from start to finish, making my daughter and her little sister feel like special superheroes for the whole day. He was SO good with the girls, bringing out their characters so well and interacting with them beautifully. We also got an incredible slideshow of the photos afterwards, and amazing service throughout the experience. A fantastic day and fantastic service!
