“An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at your hotel, you’ll be greeted by staff and checked into the Superior Double room. You’re free to spend your time at the hotel as you wish, enjoying the facilities and the comfortable surroundings.
You’ll have the whole city to choose from when it comes to dining, with plenty of restaurants around the corner if you don’t want to travel far and a contemporary restaurant in the hotel itself if you want to dine even closer to your room.
As part of this experience, you’ll each enjoy a tasty (vegan) full English breakfast in the morning, setting you up nicely for the week ahead.

You are able to book your Sunday night break throughout the year (subject to some exclusions).
We recommend you book at least 12 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your experience will be for one night. Check into the hotel will be after 15.00 and departure by 12.00 on the Monday morning.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
