Get a taste of Italy with the Sunday Farmers Market Tour and Cookery Class at La Cucina Caldesi. Journeying through the Marylebone Farmer’s Market, you’ll learn what to look for, all while meeting the producers. Make your way back to the cookery school with bags full of fresh, local ingredients that you’ll use to cook delicious Italian dishes with the help of your talented tutor Stefano Borella.
During your hands-on cookery class, you’ll prepare a selection of dishes for a “pranzo della domenica” – an Italian Sunday Lunch. Your lunch will include delicious recipes such as smoked cheese gnocchi with cherry tomato and basil sauce, chicken under a brick, and ‘mimosa cake’ for dessert. Round things off by tucking into your finished creations accompanied by a glass of Italian wine, before heading home with loads of newfound knowledge to continue in the comfort of your own kitchen.

“An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
When you arrive at La Cucina Caldesi cookery school you will be warmly welcomed and meet your tutor Stefano Borella before your group heads out to the market. You will return to the cookery school with all the ingredients you will need to make a delicious Italian Sunday Lunch which you will enjoy with a glass of Italian wine.
You will learn a variety of skills and enjoy getting hands-on with the cooking process. You will leave the class with a new knowledge of Italian food and what to look for when purchasing it and be inspired to continue creating delicious dishes in your own kitchen.
