What happens on the day?

Your train will depart from Loughborough Central at 1.00pm, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare. Once on board, the two of you can take your seats in a First Class Restaurant Car and soak up the idyllic countryside views, all whilst enjoying a delicious three-course Saturday lunch.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 5 (under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times)
Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated in the dining carriage
For those who can walk a short distance, wheelchairs can be folded and carried in the brake van.

Availability

The voucher is valid for 12 months and cannot be extended.

The experience is available Sunday lunchtime throughout the year, excluding certain special events.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow up to 2 hours 30 minutes for the full experience.

The train departs Loughborough Central station at 13.00 and returns at approximately 14.45. Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time, as late arrivals will result in a missed experience.

Please note that due to current COVID restrictions, the all-day travel element of this experience is suspended until safety measures are relaxed. Vouchers purchased will be valid for 2021 bookings.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
