Excellent 70th Birthday present!
My sister, Mum and I bought this experience for my Dad as a joint Birthday present back in May. We had to wait a while for a date because it was so popular but when the day came round, it was fantastic! Delicious 3 course Sunday lunch, 2 bottles of wine and everything authentic in a steam train trip from Eridge station and back. Would highly recommend!

Food great but experience shabby
The food was delicious, served by cheerful and attentive staff. The train and carriages were authentic and charming, but for £50 a head we expected better than paper tablecloths and napkins. The journey itself consisted of short runs between the stations and interminably long waits at either end of the line - a journey which was covered twice. It was bluebell season which was a saving grace. For the huge steam fanatic it would be great - but for 4 ladies on a birthday lunch it was just OK.

Not worth the money.
I paid £180 for 4 people to have Sunday lunch and a vintage train journey. I didn't feel it was worth the money. The staff were lovely and attentive, however, the lunch of roast lamb wasn't great and the train travelled up and down a track of a couple of miles.

Worst voucher ever
We bought a steam train experience only to find out the steam train had broken, so we just went on a diesal train. Once on the train we wer promised a 3 course meal, what we got was a child size sunday lunch. We left hungry and disapointed
