Taught by an expert tutor, you’ll choose your glass from a vast selection and learn how to cut it into a prepared pattern. You’ll be working in the UK’s largest stained glass supply shop, so there’s no shortage of beautiful glass to inspire you. Learn how to cut and place your lead came, solder, cement and polish.
You’ll enjoy lunch during your day, before completing a beautiful stained glass mirror to take pride of place in your home, as well as getting the opportunity to gain key skills into glass craft.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Creative Glass Guild, you’ll meet the rest of the group and your tutor. With experience in their field and excellent classroom facilities, there’s no better person to guide you through the stages of this time-honoured craft. Choose your glass from the vast selection on offer, before being shown how to cut it into a prepared pattern. You’ll be taught how to cut and place your lead came, solder it, cement it and polish it, finishing with a beautiful stained glass mirror to take home. As part of your day, you’ll also enjoy a delicious lunch, perfect for fuelling more creativity.

Availability
The experience is available once a month on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, between 10.00 and 16.00. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow at least six hours for the full experience. Timings are dependent on progress.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
