What happens on the day?
Your Thames Sightseeing Cruise allows for all-day hop-on, hop-off travel, so you can come and go as you wish. Hop aboard your Thames Sightseeing Cruise from Westminster, Tower or Greenwich pier, and spend some time taking in the sights of the city as you cruise past The Tower of London, The Houses of Parliament, The London Eye and much more. You can embark and disembark as many times as you wish, so there’s plenty of opportunity for some spontaneous adventure.
Whether you choose to start with the cruise or begin at St. Paul’s, you'll discover centuries of British history in one of London’s most beautiful landmarks. Explore the crypt, the Whispering Gallery, and exquisite views from the Stone and Golden Galleries.

Availability
St Paul's Cathedral
At St Paul’s Cathedral you will need to exchange your voucher for admission tickets at the tills at the West Entrance. The cathedral is typically open for sightseeing between 8.30 and 16.00 (last admission). Excluded dates apply.
Once inside the cathedral, access to the Whispering, Stone and Golden Galleries is from 09.30 – 16.15. The cathedral closes for sightseeing at 16.30.
Please note the Whispering Gallery will be closed until January 2021 – other areas may have restricted access due to the current restrictions.
Opening times may vary when the Cathedral is hosting special services or events, sometimes at short notice. This is rare though and any restrictions on visiting hours are usually known well in advance. Please check the cathedral calendar for further details. https://www.stpauls.co.uk/calendar/month
On Sunday’s the cathedral is open for services and worship only and no sightseeing is possible.
Thames Sightseeing River Cruise
Your Thames Sightseeing River Cruise is available any day of the week. Excluded dates include 25 December, 1 January, Valentines (13 and 14 February), UK Mother's day, Good Friday to Easter Monday, UK Father's day and Bank Holiday Mondays. Please note that due to high demand for the river cruise during summer months, there may be some restricted availability during July and August.
Please note this experience will run Friday to Sunday only (all date’s exclude Greenwich) until 31 March 2021. Please check closer to the time of traveling that there are no changes to the schedule as services may change at short notice due to the current circumstances.
City Cruises services operate approximately every 40 minutes between 10.00 and 18.00 (depending on the departure pier and the season). Please remember to check the times of the return boats and the last boats of the day.
Some restrictions may apply during special occasions and major events.
The average visit time to St Paul's Cathedral is approximately 2 hours, although you are welcome to explore at your own pace. You have unlimited travel with hop on and off access at four of the City Cruises piers, so your cruise can last all day.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
