Skid Control
About this experience
Put your driving skills to the test as you skid in a safe environment with guidance from experienced instructors at a choice of two locations. Test your reflexes and co-ordination as you learn the actions and how it’s all about the angles.
After detailed training from the instructor, you’ll purposely slide the car before experiencing hands-on what it’s like to tackle a skidding car. Learn about weight transfer, under steer and over steer, and the correct use of throttle and brakes. If you like big thrills behind the wheel, this one’s for you.

“No Skidding it was an amazing experience ”
Sunday 8th March , 1.30pm. I love my cars, enjoy driving and I am used to varied road conditions. My husband chose the Skidpan experience for my Birthday. My instructor was amazing and explained everything precisely with clear instructions. This is something that you are not taught on your driving test and well worth while. Although I have 40 years driving experience, this was the best ever. The session gave me a life lesson, for which I am truly grateful. So book up and enjoy

“Fun but informative”
Wasnt looking forward to it but really enjoyed it and so much made sense. Think I may be able to cope with the ice/snow this year
“Skid Control Training”
I thoroughly enjoyed my 1:1 introductory Skid Control course organised with ATC Driver Training. Although I consider myself an experienced driver, I have never previously attended a course on skid control. I left feeling much more confident on how to cope better should the need arise. Great fun but also potentially a life saver.
