About this experience
Step into a world of clever story-telling, amazing animation and a lot of laughs at Shrek’s Adventure! in County Hall on London’s South Bank.
He’s already travelled from page to screen to stage, but now Shrek is bringing his friends on an adventure to the heart of London and you can journey with them on a 4D bus ride to the heart of Shrek’s Swamp. The ogre himself is missing to start with, so you’ll need to find him if you have any hope of getting back to the DreamWorks Tours arrival hall. You’ll meet all your favourite characters from Shrek’s world, and at the end you’ll get to meet some of DreamWorks’ other brilliant creations too.
You’ll also enjoy a delicious Pre-show burger and fries for two at Maxwell's, Covent Garden.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Shrek’s Adventure! London at County Hall you’ll be directed through to the DreamWorks Tours Departure Gates, where you’ll be given a briefing by the Head Tour Guide before boarding an amazing 4D ride disguised as a tour bus. From there you’ll travel through 10 live fairy-tale themed shows before returning to the arrivals hall, where some of DreamWorks’ other film characters have been brought to life for you to meet and discover.
Whether your meal is booked for lunch or dinner (dependent on the day), you’ll also enjoy a delicious Pre-show burger and fries for two at Maxwell's, Covent Garden.

Open daily throughout the year. Tours start hourly and times may vary due to opening and closing times. Date restrictions including 25 and 26 December will apply.
Maxwell's
The restaurant is available for lunch or dinner and must be pre-booked to ensure availability.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow a full day for this experience. Tours last approximately 1 hour 20 minutes
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

“Great day but booking not!”
On booking VExp day, operator far too casual, flipant in manner, not v. helpful. Our 1st time using VExp, Pizza express opt gone so he booked us into another pizzeria. When asked if they cater for GF diet was told he didn't think so. Asked for an alternative venue so booked Maxwells. Not made fully aware of what to expect eg very limited menu choice. Added child 2 booking. Had 2 rephone Virgin as booking was incorrect when emailed out. Quickly rectfied. Not much space 2 express disappointments.
