Want to test your skills aboard the future of two-wheeled transportation? With a Segway Blast, you’ll get a taste of exactly what these super-fun electric steeds can do. Gloriously kitted out in your safety gear, you’ll be all set to roll. You’ll undertake a short training session to get to grips with the basics before taking on the twists and turns of the rally track!
With a mixture of instructor-led riding and free time, this is your chance to master the controls and wheel about in futuristic style. With a professional photographer on hand to capture the action, you’ll be welcome to purchase your favourite moments as a keepsake to remember your day. With this fun-filled 30 minute blast to get you started, we doubt it’ll be long before you’re back for a full session!

What happens on the day?
On the chosen day of your Segway Blast, you will be asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking to allow plenty of time to sign in with staff and to fill out your waiver. You’ll then be kitted up in your safety gear, briefed and given a short training session to get to grips with how your Segway manoeuvres.
Then you’ll be ready to test your skills on the Segway Rally track. With 14 locations to choose from, no two tracks are the same. There’ll be a professional photographer on hand to capture all the action. You’ll then be able to purchase your photos at the end of the experience for an additional fee if you wish.

Participant guidelines
- Under 16s must be accompanied by a full paying adult
- Minimum height: 134cm (4ft 5in)
- Minimum weight: 45kg (7st 1lb)
- Maximum weight: 117kg (18st 7lb)
- You will not be able to participate if you are pregnant, or suffer from medical conditions such as epilepsy or heart disease
- You will not be able to participate if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Availability
Please make a note of the expiry date on your voucher. Your experience will need to be booked and taken by this date.
The experience must be pre-booked and is available on selected weekdays throughout the year at 09.00 or 09.30. Date restrictions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
The session is 30 minutes but please arrive 30 minutes prior to your booking time - allow a maximum of 1 hour 30 minutes in total.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Excellent! I was surprised how quickly it became natural to me to ride it. Initially, when I got on, I thought that this is going to be hard to master, but after about 5 minutes (or less), it was a breeze. It was great fun and I wish I had booked for longer. I WANT ONE!

Overall good fun however I wouldn’t book through Virgin experiences again. The dates, times and venues were very limited which wasn’t clear at the time the gift card was purchased. Bray lakes wasn’t very well signposted and extremely muddy so should of taken wellies.
