Hosted at Leeds’s original Spirit School, the 90 minute masterclass will be led by an industry professional as the two of you delve into the rich history and diversity of this finely crafted spirit. Immerse yourselves in the five scotch producing areas of the country as both of you sample one spirit from each region.
Across the five different tastings, you’ll experience the distinctive profiles of each and the impressive effect which terroir has on these premium liquids. Perfectly located in the city centre, this masterclass ticks all the boxes for a great night out together.

What happens on the day?
On arrival, the two of you will be warmly welcomed by your industry professional instructor. The first part of the evening will see you delve into the history and diversity of the spirit, before sampling five different scotches each from various areas of Scotland.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 18
- The Studio is located on the first floor of the building, unfortunately due to the age and design of the building there is no disabled access. There are 20 steps with a handrail from the entrance to the first floor and two small steps between the Tasting & Blending rooms
- Seating is available if required
- A unisex toilet is also located on the same floor with no extra step access
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

The experience is available Fridays at 20.30, from 5 February 2022. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least 3 days in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
