What a lovely Day.
Very pleasant experience at the Rubens, we mentioned it was our anniversary and were offered complementary champagne, and they had the words "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate sauce around cake plate.

Visit to the Queen’s Gallery & Afternoon Tea for Two
Although the day was very enjoyable we found the sandwiches and scones rather disappointing. The rest (inc the service) was very good.

Visit to The Queen's Gallery and Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two
Overall a very enjoyable day. The Room used afternoon tea at the courthouse hotel was seperated from the rest of the hotel and rather basic. No tablecloths etc. Food was good though 1pm is amuch too early slot, but it was all that was available. The background music was too loud and on a short loop so very repetitive. Queen Gallery was as good as one would expect, although we would have preferred an early time. 4pm meant homeward bound in the rush hour.

The Queens Gallery was very nice, although some of the artwork on display was disappointing. The champagne afternoon tea at the Courthouse Hotel was very pleasant.
