Delicious afternoon tea in lovely setting.
The Vicarage serve afternoon tea in their bright conservatory. We relaxed with a glass of Prosecco and then enjoyed a selection of tasty sandwiches. The scones were particularly good and so were the cakes and pastries.

Delightful Experience
Though we arrived early, we were instantly made welcome and settled down, water, Proseco and the Afternoon Tea followed in short order, everything was fresh and the Scones delicious, this together with one of the better selection of cakes we have ever had, made for a very pleasant visit. No Airs and Graces here just an enjoyable experience

Lovely afternoon Tea with a lovely atmoshere
Great service and a lovely location, afternoon tea served in the conservatory which was lovely. Very fresh food with home made elements. Far too much for us to eat but we were able to take a boggy bag of cakes 😄

Lovely venue with attentive staff.
Lovely venue with attentive staff. We didn't wish to have the presecco so were served as much tea and coffee as we liked.

A very nice afternoon tea
Very pleasant staff. All fresh and yummy. First I've ever had and glad I've tried it. They are quite expensive though if you had to pay but as a gift it was enjoyable.

Celebrating good news and catching up
Leisurely afternoon catching up with a special friend over a huge afternoon tea. Finger sandwiches, brioche buns topped with savoury fillings. Three different sweet cakes (each) and then a delicious scone with cream and jam. Prosecco followed by Earl Grey tea and lemon. Far too much so left-overs wete carefully wrapped to take home.... Very few people around hence not a five star experience, rather lacking in atmosphere as a result.

They forgot the prossecco!!!
Very disappointed that we were not given a glass of prosecco. So looking forward to it. This was to be a special tea for us two grandmothers for looking after the grandchildren. Food could have been better not keen on piccalilli sandwich and would have liked the offer of another hot drink when we had finished our eats and chatting. Have been to other afternoon teas where we had several hot drinks and a few strawberries with our scones.

Underwhelmed
Nice enough although the scones were a little dry. We found the service let it down overall. Staff need training to keep checking that everything is ok. We would have purchased extra drinks if asked. We asked to leave our Prosecco until later but no one returned to ask when we wanted to we ended up leaving without it in the end.

Not a lot for vegetarians...
If you don’t eat meat and fish, make sure you make it very, very clear. I told them I was vegetarian and still ended up with prawns, tuna and roast beef. Beautiful inside though, and a nice enough experience.

Nice venue
The Vicarage Free house and Rooms was a great venue, for people who love history and quirky places (which I do). The staff were very friendly and looked after us well. The afternoon tea was ok, not my favourite sandwiches or cake but that is a personal choice, someone else may love smoked salmon sandwiches and frangipan cake.
