What happens on the day?
On arrival at the Montcalm Hotel in London, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who’ll show you to your pre-booked table. Take your seats and soak up the 5* surroundings before dining on a delightful array of sweet and savoury treats, served on a tiered cake stand.

If you wish to book for a Saturday or Sunday, there is a £3.50pp surcharge. Upgrades are subject to availability.
Please note that the last sitting is at 15.00.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Afternoon tea Montcalm Hotel
Afternoon tea was superb! Arrived early, no problem in seating us our table was ready, quick service, my friend doesn’t actually drink tea/coffee so she asked for Diet Coke no problem and they didn’t charge any extra for it. Overall great food/ lovely service, beautiful tea room would definitely recommend great value for money.

Birthday treat
Fabulous food in a luxurious setting with excellent customer service . A wonderful relaxing afternoon tea which I would highly recommend. Would definitely visit again. Thank you to the brilliant staff for making our birthdays memorable .

Lovely Time

fab afternoon tea!
Lovely afternoon tea with glass of fizz. Sandwiches were fresh and 'unusual' breads were used. They catered for my friends dietry requirements with no fuss. Scones lovely and warm and the little cakes were so cute and posh!! Staff were attentive - all in all a lovely few hours spent at the Montcalm. Just off Oxford Street so it was easy to get to/find.

Afternoon Tea with a smile
Had a fab afternoon for my wife's birthday at this small hidden gem of a hotel. The manager of the restaurant was incredibly helpful and chatted to us. We were the last couple sitting in the restaurant at 6pm, as it was closing, he apologised and offered to allow us to finish our teas and coffees in the lounge. Pouring us an additional 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco, as a gesture of goodwill. Great service thank you Savvi.

Enjoyed a lovely Prosecco afternoon tea. Good selection of sandwiches and pastries and plenty of tea refills. Lovely atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly.

Afternoon tea for two
The food and drink were wonderful, but overall the tea room was a lot noisier than expected and the wait staff seemed to be in a hurry to take our order even if we had just gotten the tea menus. The scones were particularly good!

Nice tea - staff could improve the atmosphere...
Lovely variety and selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes included with an extensive tea menu to choose from. The restaurant where the tea is served was ok but don’t expect to feel that special. The staff didn’t go above and beyond to make us feel welcome at all which was a real shame for a 5* venue.

Afternoon tea
We went in October, staff were very covid safe in masks and checking visitor’s temperatures on arrival. The tea itself was very underwhelming. We had to wait 30 minutes until we were given any tea and had to ask a member of staff to order it. The cakes and sandwiches were nice but not overly impressive. Staff spent a lot of time chatting and it took a long time to get their attention. Disappointing for a 5* hotel.

Not a 5 star more like a 3 star
I purchased this for a surprise for my hubby’s birthday. I have done a lot of afternoon tea like Savoy, Wellesley, Horseguards just to make a few.. No way is this 5 star. The sandwiches were ok and cakes fine. I was given Tea menu and I and for English breakfast he asked me how I wanted my eggs!!! People next to us were eating Indian which the smell was overwhelming I feel should of been in a different area Just standard knife fork spoon no cake fork of tea spoon Really poor Staff polite
