Kitted out all in the safety gear, the four of you will receive a safety briefing from the qualified and insured family-friendly kayak instructors, including tuition in the correct kayaking techniques. Once it’s time to head out, you’ll embark on an epic safari of the Newquay coast including cave exploration, paddle games, wildlife watching and wave negotiation.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Newquay Activity Centre, you’ll be greeted by a member of staff before completing some basic paperwork and provided safety gear including Rip Curl wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and paddles. The session will be completely private to just the four of you, beginning with a safety briefing and basic training. You’ll then head on an epic safari with the instructors, including cave exploration, paddle games, wildlife watching and wave negotiation.

- Minimum age: 8
- Spectators can walk along the headland to watch where the kayaking takes place, however most may be out of view
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.
The experience can be booked seven days a week throughout the year. Excluded dates do apply.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 3 hours for the full experience. Lesson times do vary depending on the group size, weather and ocean conditions but the staff will always ensure your lesson as long as possible.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
