Put together by the patisserie experts at Brigit's Bakery, these jam-packed picnic packages have everything you need for an alfresco afternoon tea. Small but perfectly formed, you’ll each receive an individual box brimming with delicious cakes, sandwiches and scones, as well as orange juice and your choice of tea, coffee or B infusion. It’s a lot for one box, but they’ve been specially designed to be light enough to carry and fit comfortably in the basket of a Boris Bike.
Nearby picnic spots include the Victoria Embankment and Whitehall Gardens, and St. James’s, Green and Hyde Parks for a more famed alfresco experience. Brigit's Bakery will provide the food – the location’s up to you!

“30th Wedding Anniversary treat”
The box was attractive to carry....not quite so nice for my husband!! We were invited to choose our cold drink and also a hot drink. We chose decaffeinated coffee and it was the smoothest coffee I have ever had. The contents of the box were packed beautifully and were top quality. We were given some ideas of where to eat and we chose Embankment Gardens where we stayed for 2 hours. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you to all the staff

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Brigit's Bakery in Covent Garden you’ll pick up your pre-ordered picnic boxes before hitting the streets to head for your ideal picnic spot. How far you travel will have an effect on how warm your hot drinks are once you get there, so make sure to plan accordingly to get the full afternoon tea experience, but as each box will fit perfectly in a Boris bike you might be surprised how far you can get.
Once you’ve arrived at your chosen place you’ll open your boxes to find mouth-watering cakes, sandwiches and scones, as well as freshly-squeezed orange juice and your choice of tea, coffee of B infusion. Please note: picnic blankets aren’t provided, so you might need to seek out a bench (or bring your own blanket) to save getting your clothes dirty.

- Minimum age: 16 (under 18s must be accompanied by a full paying adult)
- Brigit's Afternoon Tea are able to cater for vegetarians, pescatarians, gluten free (but not coeliac as traces of gluten may be found), vegans, halal. They are unable to cater for Nut Free, Combination of Dairy & Gluten free, Combination of Vegan & Gluten Free or Coeliacs
- Any allergies must be sent by email and confirmed by management at Bus@b-bakery.com and must not be written in special requests

Your voucher is valid for six months

We recommend you book at least 24 hours in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

I have been on the B Bakery bus tour and loved it so when I saw a take away option I couldn’t resist! It didn’t disappoint, fabulous food and well packaged! One of the best options in London for a picnic. Just a shame we can’t rely on the weather to enhance it... Highly recommend this afternoon tea option, you won’t be disappointed!!!!
“Brilliant afternoon tea in a box!”
Despite giving B Bakery very little notice - we wanted to make sure that we didn't get rained on during our picnic- B Bakery provided an excellent afternoon tea in a box. Plenty of dainty and delicious sandwiches and savouries, an attractive tasty selection of cakes, a scone with clotted cream and jam and a hot and a cold drink! All this in an easy to carry and well designed carrying box. Every detail is cleverly and attractively designed - even down to the upmarket cutlery. Well done B & thanks
