About this experience
Design your own perfume and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea together from a choice of 17 locations. You’ll be greeted with a glass a sparkling white wine each, the perfect way to begin your scented adventure.
A trained Perfume Studio consultant will be on hand to guide you through the delightful scents available for you to mix and match, and help you design high quality, unique fragrances of your own. The consultant will blend it for you, before you take your pick from several different coloured atomisers to take it away with you.
You’ll have the chance to name your perfumes and will each receive an e-certificate of registration, so you can order more of your unique scent in the future. You’ll round off the day with a delicious afternoon tea together.

“An unusual and interesting day out.”
We went on the create your own perfume with afternoon tea experience. It was in Harrogate at the Majestic Hotel. The people running the course were very friendly, informative and interesting. It was quite exciting creating and naming our own perfumes. A glass of bubbles on arrival, and we came away with the perfume blend we chose which was made while we were there. The afternoon tea at the hotel was delightful. The whole day was fun and unique. Highly recommend.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at the hotel the two of you will meet the rest of your class and will be welcomed with an elegant glass of sparkling wine each. Your consultant will guide you through the sampling of the different blends provided and you will compare them in order to decide which fragrances you would like to use.
Following this, you will each combine your choices to design your own fragrances, with the assistance of the consultant. When you have named your creations, the consultant will blend them, and you will each go home that day with a presentation box containing an atomiser filled with 20ml of your unique scent, which will be followed by an e-certificate of registration each. Before you leave, enjoy an afternoon tea together in the hotel where you will be presented with the traditional treat of sandwiches, cakes, cookies and tea or coffee.

The experience is run on selected Saturdays throughout the year, subject to location and availability (excluding Christmas and New Year)

It is recommended that you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 3 hours for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
