What happens on the day?
Discover Britain’s own Sistine Chapel, the exquisite Painted Hall. The two of you can immerse yourselves in the history of this spectacular location, originally the site of King Henry VIII’s Greenwich Palace. Covering 4,000 square metres, there’s plenty to explore, with accessible exhibits and multimedia guides.
You can take a guided tour of the entire Old Royal Naval College grounds, visit the Nelson Room, and join a drop-in talk about the Painted Hall. Round things off with a delicious afternoon tea in the brand-new Painted Hall Café. You'll enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of cakes as well as your choice of tea from the menu.

Visits generally last 75 to 90 minutes with additional time for tea but visitors are welcome to stay as long as they’d like.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
