What happens on the day?
For the tour, you’ll meet your guide at a designated meeting point of the Cool Britannia gift shop at the corner of Turl Street and Broad Street. Your two hour tour will take you around the streets of Oxford, including the university buildings and Bodleian Libraries. Your tour guide will keep you entertained with stories and anecdotes along the way as you uncover this beautiful city’s often troubled past. Discover all the sights that featured in movies like Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland. Hear stories about the great academics and scientists who have studied and lived here.
Upon arrival at the Folly, the two of you can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. With exquisite sweet and savoury delicacies, your fantastic food will be complemented by a glass of chilled sparkling wine alongside tea or coffee.

- No dogs other than guide dogs are allowed on the tour
- The tour is wheelchair accessible however may pass over cobbled streets. Please let the supplier know if you have any mobility issues that it would be helpful for your Guide to be aware of in advance

Availability
Walking Tour
This experience takes place seven days a week at selected times. Some exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least one week in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the tour.
Afternoon Tea
Your afternoon tea is available from 15.00 to 17.00 on weekends throughout the winter and seven days a week throughout the rest of the year. Please contact the supplier at the time of booking for updated availability.
We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 2 hours for your afternoon tea.
Please note that the Folly is around 10-15 minutes walk away from the ending location of the tour. Be sure to allow time for travel between bookings.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
