Excellent!
A lovely experience this weekend. I couldn't recommend highly enough. Upon arrival we were offered Prosecco, food arrived shortly thereafter and the lovely waitress who served us was great! Really authentic (it helped that she knew my partner!) however she was brilliant and made us feel incredibly welcome.

Such a shame
Booked a weekend to Oxford and had afternoon tea at The Folly, but it was so disappointing. Tables were not 2 meters apart to start with. But also the service was rubbish, with no tea/coffee even offered. We had to ask half way through eating to have something to drink, then no apology or acknowledgement was even given. There were little bits of fluff in the milk, and the cakes and sandwiches were dry. Such a shame!

Not the greatest afternoon tea around!
I was expecting better to be honest! The venue was grubby, the food was average, the service was polite but very slow. We didn’t get our pot of tea until we’ll after we had eaten all the sandwiches! No choice of tea was offered though I seem to recall the waiter muttering something about breakfast tea as he walked off! There was an unpleasant smell emanating from the gents toilets on the other side of the area that we sat and the ladies toilets were rather smelly too. Not the best experience!

Total disappointment
We booked an afternoon tea at The Follly in Oxford. The setting by the River looked lovely however the actual experience was poor. The order took ages to arrive. The service was terrible, the actual tea selection was small finger sandwiches with hardly any filling in them at all. The scones were fine and the selection of cakes was dire! Totally disappointed.
