Wonderful day out
We had an excellent day. The two and a half hour cruise was varied and the skipper, Nick, was very informative and welcoming. We thought we knew quite a lot about Oxford but learnt a lot more from a totally new perspective on the water, and saw plenty of wildlife. Although Brasserie Blanc was a bit further from the centre than we had realised the extra walk was worth it. The food was delicious and we were allowed to pick what we wanted and just charged the difference from the set menu price

Wonderful birthday present
Lovely lunch followed by a nice, relaxing, quite intimate trip down the Thames. Guide was knowledgeable and laid back. A bit confusing booking the boat (ended up with two time slots), but got there in the end

A very relaxing day!
We were greeted immediately at reception and told where to go. The boat held 12 passengers, once seated we set off. Quite comfortable with tables and scatter cushions. As we cruised the main highlights were pointed out by our jolly skipper. We landed at the Perch for drinks and toilet break. We then returned to the Folly, a slightly different route. The river was smooth and quiet with lots of bird life. Highly recommend this trip probably on a week day.

A view of Oxford
A good way to see Oxford from the river, our skipper was very knowledgable and amusing. The meal at Brasserie Blanc was excellent and well worth the walk to the restaurant through Jericho. It was a shame having had such lovely weather we chose a day when the weather decided to change. Would recommend this package

A relaxing scenic cruise round Oxford
What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, a most enjoyable and relaxing river cruise in the sunshine. Our skipper was very knowledgeable and we even had time for a quick halfway drink at The Perch. An early, very pleasant, dinner at Brasserie Blanc finished off a memorable experience.

A weekend to remember.
A brilliant experience all round. Friendly and helpful staff at both venues. Excellent service and great menu at Brasserie Blanc. Really informative, great skipper on the boat, interesting sights and plenty of time. We booked the restaurant for saturday evening and boat trip sunday pm so made a complete weekend of it which was really nice.

Oxford Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed the outing. The staff at both locations were courteous and welcoming. The river trip was tranquil and relaxing. (Perhaps an extra 10 minutes at the "Perch Inn" might be considered?) Unfamiliar with Oxford, we had problems locating bus routes to Brasserie Blanc and finished up taking a taxi. The food and facilities at the restaurant were excellent but, for elderly people a centrally placed restaurant would be preferable. a very memroable day

Anniversary day out
The river cruise would have been much nicer on a warm and sunny day. There is not a great deal to see and 2 1/2 hours is too long. Our meal atBrasserie Blanc was most enjoyable. Well cooked and presented food

Brilliant birthday gift
Had a great time on this experience day. River cruise was on a smallish boat with plenty of time to see the sights and ask questions. Staff very knowledgeable. Meal was delicious, and staff were courteous and efficient. Only downside was having to book the two events with separate companies so you are trying to coordinate day and timings to avoid hanging around or having to rush between one thing and the next.

Oxford River Cruise & Meal at Brasserie Blanc
Meal 2nd April. 3 course meal with wine. Restaurant very elegant, staff absolutely delightful and helpful. Slightly disappointing when we were handed a set menu for Virgin Experiences instead of being able to pick from the main menu. However food very good. Most enjoyable. Cruise 3rd April, beautiful setting and very peaceful cruising down the river with a very good skipper a truly wonderful experience.

Lovely day, long walk.
The river cruise was amazing! The tour guide provided us with amazing information and was very funny and entertaining. The food at Brasserie Blan was outstanding! Could not fault the food or the service and the atmosphere was great too. The only thing is that it is a half an hour walk between the river cruise and the restaurant. We didn’t mind the walk but it did make the whole day feel a little more rushed. Overall, an amazing day and I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Oxford River Cruise & Brasserie Blanc
Overall a very enjoyable day. The restaurant was welcoming and well prepared. However, the river cruise was less successful as we left late and this led to a shorter trip than we were anticipating after reading the operators website.

Day out in Oxford
We enjoyed a lovely and peaceful trip along the Thames with a good amount of commentary where needed. Every other passenger was on a different ticket to us though and had lunch provided. By the time we were finished it was 3pm so we spent the afternoon in Oxford before dinner which was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable too. I would suggest that if the boat tour could be mid morning or mid afternoon then this would a better fit for lunch or dinner out.

River trip and meal in oxford
Both the river cruise with Oxford River Cruises and the meal at Brassiere Blanc were excellent however the walk between the two is somewhat long at almost 45 minutes. Suggest this is mentioned in any literature.
