Discover peace and tranquillity in the beautiful woodlands of Brighton’s Stanmer Park, and experience the art of ‘Shinrin Yoku’ – also known as forest bathing. A unique antidote to the hustle and bustle of modern life, this Japanese method of observing nature and breathwork is proven to reduce stress, improve memory and offer a calm and peaceful clarity.
The experience will take approximately fours hours and will see you walk through the forest with a like-minded group and expert instructor, taking in the sights and sounds of the woodlands and open fields, followed by a beginner-friendly session of feel-good yoga flow and forest bathing. It’s the perfect opportunity to get back to nature, reconnect with yourself, and discover a new hobby.

What happens on the day?
You’ll meet the rest of your group and your guide at 10.00 at One Garden, where you’ll begin your day with a gentle hike through the forest, followed by 90 minutes of beginner-friendly yoga and forest bathing, led by an expert instructor. Make sure to bring along water, a jumper, and any snacks or food you might want during your experience. Remember to bring your yoga mat!
Please be advised the trip is estimated to take four hours but timing can vary depending on group.

Participant guidelines
- A moderate fitness level is required
- Participants will need to be fit enough to walk up a moderate slope. If there is any serious health issues, the participant needs sign off from their GP that they are allowed to attend a hike

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.
This experience takes place at 10.00 every fourth Sunday of the month between April and October. Date exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 4 hours for the full experience (time spent will depend on numbers on the day)
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
