What happens on the day?
On arrival at the Billesley Manor Hotel, you’ll be greeted by a member of staff before being directed to your room and advised of the on-site facilities. From there the time’s yours to enjoy as you wish, spending time in the health club facilities, or heading out to explore the wider area. Following a peaceful night’s sleep, you’ll be served a delicious full English to set you up for the day.
When you arrive at the Shakespeare Distillery, you’ll meet your guide and the rest of the group. The two of you will learn all about gin’s history and the company’s own story as you explore the distillery, before enjoying a guided tasting of three spirits and a G&T, made with a gin of your choice.

Availability
Your vouchers are valid for 12 months from the issue date. You can use your vouchers seperately but if you wish to combine them please note that the cruise season runs from mid-March to October.
Billesley Manor
You are able to book your one night break Sunday to Friday (excludes Saturday) throughout the year (subject to some exclusions).
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Shakespeare Gin Distillery
The experience takes place on Wednesday to Sunday. Exclusions may apply.

Your hotel stay will be for one night. Check into the hotel will be after 15.00 and departure by 11.00 the following morning. Please allow approximately 1 hour for the visit to Shakespeare Gin Distillery.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Weekend away
Our daughter’s gave us this experience as a present along with the Shakespeare gin distillery tour. We had a wonderful time followed by a lovely day in Stratford. Would definitely recommend.

Nice break
The Shakespeare Gin Distillery was a great. Friendly, knowledgable people made it very interesting. Gin was lovely! Billesley Manor not quite the same experience. The room had an outlook over a flat roof with air con pipes. Room was a shambles, scruffy with lots of things wrong and needed renovating. We complained and were then given a lovely room. Have seen other negative reviews on their website, but the company don't seem to let that bother them. Won't be returning there anytime soon.

Beautiful, just falsely advertised.
At the hotel, we were handed a leaflet with a list of things that we could do on site. We then went to visit the ‘Must see!’ Library where ‘‘Shakespeare wrote his play, ‘As You Like it’... and you will like it!’’ When we asked where it was, the staff told us ‘it’s not worth visiting’, saying the ‘lights were off and it was cold because we haven’t put the heating on’. The bath in our room was full of hairs. And the facilities close at different times to what is stated on the website/leaflet.
