Amazing weekend away for us
Absolutely amazing experience. We decided to go for a night stay at the Crown Plaza with the spa treatments. The spa facilities were amazing and the massage and facial was very relaxing. The food was very satisfying with a great view of the land outside. The rooms were clean and big. Overall Had an amazing experience as the staff are lovely and helpful. Would recommend going again.

Best friends Spa Stay
Lovely relaxing spa overnight. Great facilities. I would recommend more loungers and maybe more hot tubs outside as I think that’s everyone’s favourite- I know it was ours. Bedroom was lovely, spacious and comfy bed. Restaurant looks lovely. A tad expensive for my liking so went else where. Drinks were tad pricey so didn’t drink much. But overall it was a lovely spa break which me and my friend needed.

Lovely relaxing night away
My partner bought me this experience for my birthday we decided to book it for our anniversary which was shortly after. The booking process was very easy once you activate the voucher I just called the hotel with the number and it was booked. Very good value for money and everything that should have been included was.

Outstanding venue, lovely experience
I won't be coming often (cost), but I would go at least once every 6 months if I could! Outstanding facilities, best massage ever, best jacuzzi ever, and the best hotel breakfast ever. Only criticism is that the restaurant is expensive for evening meals, but with everything else so good it's difficult to complain.

Amazing, relaxing experience!
We had a great overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were welcoming and our room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The gym and pool facilities are great, we particularly liked the outdoor jacuzzi! We both had back, shoulder and neck massages which were so lovely and relaxing - although could have had a lot longer than 25 minutes! The food in the glaze restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

1 night stay spa
On trying to book with virgin voucher found the experience very frustrating and was unable to book treatment, given a choice at that point would have chosen a different hotel, however once checked found the hotel, service and staff to be exceptional, helpful, clean and all good delicious very organised lovely hotel would definitely return only criticism not enough loungers in pool area unless we went at a particularly busy period.

It was ok...
This is not something I would do again through the virgin media platform. The system was clunky to use and it was VERY clear from the hotel admin end that you are a bother to them if you use one of these vouchers. The woman was clearly irritated by the levels of extra administration the voucher causes; reiterating many times that I could only have this or only have that and under no circumstances can I change my mind about anything or cancel.

Spa Retreat
Exceptional service from reception staff, always friendly. On check in I asked for single beds due to pregnancy, was upgraded to a king size which made a huge difference. The Facial was perfect but I was very disappointed with the spa facilities, its a standard gym/pool you’d find at any leisure centre, mediocre not a luxury spa experience, Use of the spa times good. The Hotel was beautiful, would stay again, but not for the spa, the drinks were overpriced, wouldn’t buy again for a gift.

Enjoyable
The hotel was clean and staff polite and friendly. Our room was nice and quiet . I had been booked into a room with double bed but needed twin room. They were able to accommodate my request with no fuss. The breakfast was lovely with a great choice of food. The spa room was warm but the waiting area was a little cold as outside door was open for others to enter to use pool. An enjoyable one night stay

Hotel good, spa bad
The hotel room was fab and the buffet breakfast in the morning was amazing. However, the spa was pretty poor and our "massages" were more of a back rub... even though I asked for more pressure to be applied. Ok for the value but probably wouldn't return.

Nice weekend away
The wonderful staff at the front desk helped us check in. The room was well decorated and very comfortable, with everything we needed. We had a wonderful lunch in the cafe area again staff were amazing although food was very slow. Our stay included access to the spa and treatment. Spa was disappointing and staff weren't as helpful. Treatment however was amazing and lovely therapist. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely although slow to come and quite pricey, Amy our waitress was great.

Better if it was a business trip
The hotel it self is lovely very grand inside. We got the feeling it used as a business meet up full of corporate groups. I personally would not go on a "spa retreat" again. Bad points- It is in the middle of a industrial estate. Lots of unhappy people around. Woken up at 1am by drunk people banging and slamming doors. Spa staff made us feel uncomfortable. Good points- Staff were attentive in the hotel reception and restraunt. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms are perfect! Comfy beds!

Beautiful place
Very nice place overall room was nice and very clean and comfy bed. The outside area was lovely and relaxing with nice view. Food was lovely. A little expensive. Only a couple of downsides was my treatment was changed but only when I arrived to have it and the staff were moaning who was going to do it which I felt was unprofessional and I was made to feel uncomfortable. Then my treatment was rushed only getting 15mins. This was booked months ago so no excuse really. But overall a nice stay.

Nice but ...
We had a nice experience, started with a lovely back massage with a lovely Turkish lady. The price for a cappuccino and small Diet Pepsi was over 7 pounds which I thought was excessive. Nice walk along the Thames into marlow, and marlow is lovely. Food prices in hotel too much so got a cab back into town for dinner. Had a couple of drinks there as didn’t want to pay hotel prices. Very noisy overnight and all reception said was that there was a wedding.

Lovely hotel, spa facilities awful
The room was lovely, massive bath. Room was not cleaned properly from previous users as rose petals and confetti was left over the floor. Breakfast and bar food great. Pool area and spa facilities were awful. Children consumed the area running in and out of the sauna and steam room. No lifeguard therefore no one around to stop children jumping in pool, I had to go back to my room whilst my boyfriend was having his treatment. Didn’t even get a chance to use hot tubs due to children. NOT relaxing!

Not a relaxing, luxurious spa
It was not clear when we booked that the Crowne Plaza in Marlow is a family oriented hotel. During 7-11am and 2-7pm the pool and spa facilities are filled with children and the staff don't do anything to stop them running around and jumping in the pool. We booked the back, shoulder and neck massage but the treatment rooms are next to the pool, so all you can hear is children shouting and jumping in the pool. The room itself was really nice with a king sized bed and the breakfast was good.

Nice Hotel..Busy Spa
The hotel is lovely, great setting and secluded for a nice get away. The pool / spa area was generally very busy and there wasn’t much seating provided for when this was the case meaning people were stood waiting for sun loungers or chairs to put their belongings on. The spa facilities include a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which were all great. With added space and room to relax it would have got a better rating. Breakfast was great in the morning and the staff were lovely.

Birthday weekend
We enjoyed the stay however booking the stay was quite difficult as they did not have a way of accepting virgin experience code. At 4pm the day before going the hotel phoned to say they could not do the spa treatment. This caused stress after kicking up a fuss and getting put through to numerous people we managed to reinstate our treatments. On the morning just before leaving for the hotel we had a phone call and had to go through it all again. This was again stressful and I was quite anxious.

Prob would not come back
Booking was hassle with the lockdowns. It was a fight to rebook for when restrictions would allow. We were told we were only allowed to rebook once and must make that decision a year in advance. Different to what virgin states. Thankfully we booked for July in November so we got lucky. Room was not next door or joining as was meant to be booked. Rubbish in drawers. Half eaten food in fridge. Hair in shower. Was offered a room clean but I didn't trust them. Didn't enjoy the massage either.

Very slow and unorganised
The hotel facilities were nice but the service was extremely slow and unorganised in every part. The restaurant for dinner took 45 mins to have a main course and 20 mins to get first drink. The breakfast was a mess, every table was dirty and all the food and drinks had run out and were not replaced. It was like the hotel had not expected guests and were extremely understaffed.

Not worth the money
The hotel itself is advertised as a luxury spa resort, however the room looked like an average looking Travelodge room. The service in the hotel from the reception staff was amazing they are all very friendly. However the spa treatment was a let down, did not really feel like i was having a massage. The spa facilities are quite poor. Was a nice experience but definitely not worth that kind of money.

okay
1) no flipflops provided to go down to spa in (should at least be able to buy) 2) Bar service poor - had to wait a while for drinks (bar man busy talking) 3) £65 for a bottle of cava??!! 4) No tea bags in room + 1 packet of biscuits??!! 5) Service at dinner okay at beginning and then didn't get offered a dessert! go fed up waiting 6) treatment really good 7) bed comfy 8) noisy guests (swearing in corridor) 9) too many children in pool in swimming lanes

So-so hotel stay
The Good: Amazing shoulder and back massage as one of the treatment choices, and the hot tubs were lovely. The Bad: Despite the check-in time already being late at 3pm, our room wasn't ready, and in fact we were sent up to find that housekeeping hadn't even started cleaning it. Got a different room instead, but it was shambolic. The breakfast was cooked poorly. The Ugly: There was fresh blood in the lift that took ages to get cleaned up, and the bar staff were distracted and unhelpful.

Hotel disappointed brand name
I have always used Crowne Plazas and never had a problem with them and that’s why I booked this package. The chocolate dipped strawberries were 2 strawberries which was disappointing. The hotel was run down, the outside jacuzzi was dangerously hot that it could be a hazard. The staff were quite rude and weren’t the most helpful. The package is a good deal but the hotel let it down.

Worst spa ever been too!!
If you want a glorified leisure centre with children screaming then this is the place Myself and husband wanted to go away for a relaxing spa break without our children. There was no where to lounge, had to sit on normal chairs. The spa consists of a mouldy jacquzzi, a sauna with a dirty brown sweat layer Would not recommend
