What happens on the day?
On arrival at the Vanbrugh House Hotel, you’ll be greeted by a member of staff before being directed to your room. From there the time’s yours to enjoy as you wish, spending time in the comfort of your characterful room, or heading out to explore the wider area. Following a peaceful night’s sleep, you’ll be served a delicious continental breakfast to set you up for the day.
When you arrive at the designated meeting point of the Cool Britannia gift shop at the corner of Turl Street and Broad Street, you will meet your friendly guide from Oxford Official Walking Tours. Your two hour tour will take you around the streets of Oxford, including the university buildings and Bodleian Libraries. Your tour guide will keep you entertained with stories and anecdotes along the way as you uncover this beautiful city’s often troubled past. Discover all the sights that featured in movies like Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland. Hear stories about the great academics and scientists who have studied and lived here.

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.
One Night Oxford Break
Your overnight stay can be booked Sunday to Friday throughout the year, however some date exclusions may apply.
University and City Walking Tour
This experience takes place at 13.00, seven days a week. Some exclusions may apply.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the tour.
We recommend you book your full experience at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
