“An epic day out ”
Had a great time at Grizedale Forest GoApe. There is a good mix of activities in the treetop challenge including some epic zip wires. Definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone but always felt safe. The kids in our group loved it. There can be a bit of waiting around between the platforms. Our experience lasted well over three hours from start to finish so allow plenty of time. A very good value experience.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival at the South Lawn Hotel, you’ll be welcomed and directed to your dog friendly double or twin room for the night. Once you’re settled in, you’re free to spend your time as you please, making use of the facilities or heading out and exploring the multiple nearby attractions. On the morning after your stay, you’ll enjoy breakfast before you depart.
Please note that there is an additional cost if you wish to bring a dog.

Availability
Available Sunday to Friday (excludes Saturdays). Date restrictions may apply.
Saturdays will be accepted by the hotel for voucher bookings on a minimum two night basis from May to September (inclusive), subject to availability.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Your experience will be for one night. Check-in will be from 14.00 on the day of arrival and check-out will be 11.00 on the morning of departure.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
