Want to experience something together you’ll never forget? Head to Millets Falconry Centre for this private Falconry Experience for Two. You’ll gain an understanding of these incredible creatures, and with the guidance of an experienced Falconer, you’ll get to handle and fly between three and five different birds of prey.
You’ll learn about their lives in the wild and in captivity, and once your experience has finished, you can enjoy all-day entry to the rest of the centre, where you can discover more exotic species. An amazing experience for anyone interested in birds of prey, or those who simply fancy trying something different.

“Amazing experience!”
The experience was brilliant, me and my partner were able to hold and fly a variety of birds including a harris hawk. Our instructor Kane also gave us loads of interesting information about each of the birds, and made sure we got the most possible out of the experience. We also stayed at the falconry for a while afterwards, watched the flying demonstration which is at 1pm each day, then took a look round. Highly recommended!

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Millets Falconry Centre, you’ll need to present your voucher. Just make sure you’re there at least 5 minutes prior to your start time; your experienced Falconer will come and greet you, and from there it’ll be on to the main event. Discover the lives of these birds of prey as you handle and fly between three and five.
Your voucher also includes all-day entry to the rest of the centre, meaning that once your one-hour experience is over, you can see many more exotic creatures.

Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 8 (under 15s must be accompanied by a paying adult (either to participate or the entrance fee to watch))
- Includes all day entry to the falconry centre
- Friends and family are welcome to watch (entrance fees apply)
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
The experience is available Tuesday to Sunday, February to December. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available (you are advised to allow four to six for weekend bookings) . All bookings are subject to availability.
The falconry encounter will last approximately 1 hour, please allow additional time to visit the rest of the centre.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
