Spend a day in the kitchen of the award-winning pâtissier and learn to bake like a master. Eric Lanlard has baked cakes for the likes of Madonna and the Queen Mother. Now you can learn how it’s done with this One Day Baking Masterclass at the Cake Boy Emporium.
Head inside the luxury Battersea boutique and you will receive a welcome breakfast before the class begins. There are many subjects to choose from, so you can focus your day on something you have a particular interest in, such as Cooking with Chocolate, French Bakery or Glamorous Cake Decorating. This wonderful experience even includes a delicious lunch with wine and, at the end of your masterclass, you will receive a Cake Boy apron, recipe file and 10% discount to be used on the day to purchase tasty goodies.

“Fantastic day”
Had a fantastic day learning at the chocolate masterclass with Eric Lanlard. The class was small (5 people) and the tuition was brilliant. We made Peruvian chocolate mousse with Maracuya (passion fruit) curd on a crunchy praline base, Bundt cake and salted caramel pretzel brownies. Taking them home was tricky but I managed to get them back intact (thank goodness). Lunch was delicious, Lamb Shank, mixed vegetables and sweet potato fries followed by a fantastic cake from Cake Boy.

What happens on the day?
When you arrive at Cake Boy in Battersea, you will be served a welcome breakfast before tuition commences. The course runs from 09.30 until 16.00 and during this time you will learn lots about your chosen subject. You can pick a course that focuses on a variety of things, such as Easter Baking, French Country Baking or Cooking with Chocolate.
Your amazing masterclass will be packed with tips and tricks and you will receive a delicious lunch during the day. Once your course is complete you will take home all your tasty creations as well as a branded apron and recipe file, plus receive 10% discount in the shop to be used that day.

Availability
Your voucher is valid for six months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date as vouchers cannot be extended.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 6 hours 30 minutes for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

From the moment you arrive you're welcomed, I went on my own and it didn't matter. The cakes I walked away with tasted and looked like a professional had done baked them. Eric was a fantastic host!!! Recommended A+++
“Amazing”
The whole day was perfect. Eric was attentive and had chosen some fairly foolproof recipes which made us all feel brilliant when they all worked. Breakfast and lunch were generous and really nice. The whole day was AMAZING. Would certainly recommend to any budding party chefs.
